Family Tree Maker DVD - Win 2014.1 and Mac 3.1

This is a nice program for smaller trees. It is a bit slow to process changes with my large 25000 person tree. I have also had trouble syncing since they changed to FTM 2017

Great scam! For someone that has Family Tree Maker 2012, don't bother! 2012 version will work just fine with Windows 10. All it does is tell you you have 14 fdays free trial on Ancestry.com. You can get that anyway by just going to the website & using the free trial. The BIG ripoff is that after you have used it & backed up your work is then in the Ancestry.com database & Ancestry.com makes money off your work by having people pay additional fees monthly to access the information YOU have provided. GREAT SCAM on unsuspecting buyers!!!!!!!! This has nothing to do with Amazon as a company as they are only selling a product& probably aren't aware of the true nature of the program!

this works ok but ancestry.com is easier to understand and had more info.

Hello, I ordered Family Tree Maker DVD Win 2014.1 for the Mac OS X and for Windows 10 recently and installed the programs. The DVD works very well on both operating systems without any glitches. Pleased that someone took the time and expense to rejuvenate this software.

Installed Family Tree Maker on my Mac, and it would not function properly. Sent screen shot into support, never heard anything.Tried chat support, and they indicated it appeared DVD was corrupt. Returning for a refund.

It was just as I expected, it was an upgrade from the Family Tree version I had previously.
