I purchased the Samhita Handmade Mango Wood Tree of Life engraved keepsake box and I’m genuinely delighted with it. It arrived carefully wrapped, which made a lovely first impression. The box itself is extremely well crafted — solid, detailed, and full of character. I absolutely love this little box.

Perfect for what I needed. There is no actual lock but to me thats no problem. As regards the carving and burning out the design I find no issue such as seems to irritate some reviewers. It's good value and accomodates large cards. Probably might not take the very large Crowley cards. I use the small AC Thoth set.

Ich habe lange nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, meinen Schmuck so aufzubewahren, dass es nicht nach „Bastelstunde“ aussieht, sondern nach „Privatsammlung eines Weltreisenden“. Diese Mangoholz-Box hat das Problem gelöst. ​Meine Highlights: ​Der optische Ritterschlag: Sobald ich meine Uhr oder meine Ringe in diese Box lege, wirken sie sofort, als hätten sie eine spannende Hintergrundgeschichte. Der „Baum des Lebens“ auf dem Deckel signalisiert Besuchern: „Hier drin liegt nichts Geringeres als das Schicksal der Welt“ (oder zumindest meine Manschettenknöpfe). ​Haptik statt Plastik: Es ist echtes Holz. Es riecht gut, es fühlt sich stabil an und es macht dieses befriedigende, dumpfe Geräusch beim Schließen. Beautiful box, but i think i should explain why i needed one in the first place. I wear hearing aids, i have two types of charging docking stations, one has a battery bank (with a lid) and the other just plugs in (no lid). I wanted to save the battery bank one because it's the (far) more expensive of the two and you only get so many charges before the battery bank dies all together (and it's wonderful for traveling or camping so really can't have that dying on me) the problem is i have a cat who is infatuated with anything that has my scent on it... guess what hearing aids have?? LOL yeah my scent, in spades and these are 5k in cost so i can't have my cat getting my hearing aids. My solution - get a box. Sounds simple right? Oh no... i had ordered other boxes all of them (3 in total) came broken (one was literally smashed to bits) which means they'd have been too flimsy to have drilled a hole in the back for the USB cord to go through. I almost gave up and then i found THIS box. It's the perfect size, perfect thickness, solid wood that handled getting a hole the size of a dime drilled out the back, the hinges are durable, every single thing about this box worked GREAT for this project - that it is beautiful is just icing on the cake. It looks stunning on my nightstand. No one else would ever know what goes in it and of course Mr. Nosey (cat) can't get in it at all LOL. While i don't have to use the latch on it but if you're looking for one with a solid latch this is of good quality!

It arrived exactly as described. It is attractive and well made. I use it as a God Box but would work for many other things too such as a jewellery box.
