I only wear boots, typically steel toes, and wanted something lighter. I was trying to find milsurp boots in the style I used to wear as a kid in JROTC, but couldn't find anything, and most tactical boots in the store were gaudy or uncomfortable. I wanted light, vented, and practical, and this boot fits all three. Most reviews and even the product page itself says these boots run big and to order a size or two smaller as the classic USGI boots these are based off of were designed to be worn with 2 pairs of socks, but this was not true in my case. I wear a men's 10 or 10.5, standard width. The first pair of boots I ordered, I got 9, figuring if it was still too big, a new cloud fit insole would fix it. Unfortunately they fit true to size, so I had to return and get a size 10. They fit perfect, just as my normal 10 boots do. I swapped the insole, and they're perfect. The boots actually came with a semi legit insole, with a thinner insole also included, but I tossed them since I wouldn't be needing them. Initial impresson: These are nice boots, and should serve me well as a casual boot. As I wear them in, I'll update my review, but for what I paid and what I got I am happy. I may even order a second set in the future, if I need a dress boot.

These boots are fantastic! They fit comfortably, provide excellent support, and feel very durable. I'm pleasantly surprised with these boots. I got the modern version which is not as flimsy around the ankle. These have great traction, super light, and well-priced. As far as value, well they are inexpensive. People that don't undo the laces before pulling off risk tearing the heel or serparating the boot from the sole--that's just a given since these are not goodyear welted. IF that ever happened, Shoe Goo is your solution. No worries! The insoles are great, pretty comfy. I love the look too! I use these around the house doing odd chores. These are meant for mud, not asphalt. Therefore, the soft rubber will wear fast if you use them as your daily street boot. Treat them like winter tires: specific use for deep traction-required scenarios. They are ISO 9001 which should mean a lot about quality! That was a surprise too. And, these fit exactly like my other boots: I got the same size as normal. I highly recommend these boots. They are fantastic!

Look decent enough, but just not the boot I was looking for and had to return them. It fits true to size if not runs a little large actually so plan accordingly. Final verdict is for the price it’s a pretty solid boot, just not what I want right now.

I've been wearing these for over 2 years now, daily - high use. No stitiching loose. No glued soles separation like many boots. Leather isn't cracking. I had to put a better insole insert in, but other than that a great pair of boots. I've had boots that cost 3 or 4 times as much fail sooner and not be as reliable / durable.

Great true to size, quality boot

These are not real jungles. Upon arrival, I noticed that the sides are solid and not breathable, the drain holes are fake, and while wearing them; the stitching on the inside of the boot was burned to end the stitch and it caused a hard/sharp piece that cuts into your leg. Still not to bad on comfort when modified but these are definitely not for extreme weather, they are for fall and spring. I would never wear these into the jungle or any combat situation.

The boot's grip is terrible. Product lasted a little under 5 months before the sole fell off.
