UPDATE: I should have waited a while before I wrote my review. The AC plugs - I wrote earlier: "My only concern is that when I plugged my iPhone and Kindle into the AC outlets, the plugs did not go in or come out easily." I decided to leave them plugged in. Problem solved, right? Unfortunately, the plugs both got extremely hot when plugged into the lamp. The plugs were so hot I was not comfortable leaving them plugged in for safety reasons, even while I was home. I moved them both back to where they were plugged in previously and no issues with either one overheating. I tried to use the USB ports instead of the AC outlets (both light up and appear to be working), but my phone did not charge. It actually lost some of its charge while it was plugged in. I am contemplating returning the lamp for safety reasons and because I cannot use it as intended. I am unhappy, because this is a lovely looking lamp at a good price. Maybe it is safe, but I do not want to take a chance.I scoured Amazon looking for a lamp that would fit all my requirements: touch on and off, aesthetically pleasing, USB ports, AC plugs, and lastly - budget. After searching for a while, I ended up selecting this lamp. I read a review about how hard it is to unwrap everything and I was worried, but it wasn’t hard at all - the item was very well packed and arrived in pristine condition (it was wrapped well, but everything down to the shade was in perfect condition). I assembled it in minutes and it works perfectly. All of the charging ports work. My only concern is that when I plugged my iPhone and Kindle into the AC outlets, the plugs did not go in or come out easily. I felt like I had to force them in and they were hard to remove. The USB ports - no problem. This is not a deal breaker for me. It may be because those specific plugs have hard rigid “bricks” that the cables plug into. A regular soft plug goes right in and is simple to remove. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. It’s aesthetically pleasing, works perfectly, and was definitely budget friendly. If you’re searching for a lamp like this, I’d highly recommend it. I searched for a while before picking this lamp - save yourself the time - just buy it! You’ll love it!

I needed 2 beside lamps asap and this did the job with same day delivery! Packaging was secure enough that everything came in tact w/nothing broken including the 2 bulbs. Some assembly required but not too difficult to figure out with the PARTIAL instructions that came with it. There were no instructions to assemble the actual shade part of the lamp. Which was the lamp shade fabric/material (NOT thin paper) having to be installed around 2 wire frames (top and bottom) with flimsy metal clips and a velcro strip at the seam. I didn't particularly care for that! The rest of the instructions were fine and simple to understand. Overall the lamps look great and work well. The 2 built in USB charging ports work, and the touch light function works with an added bonus of 3 settings (dim, medium, high). The amount of light created from the 3 settings is just the right amount of brightness for the space they are in. For the price we paid we are happy with the result...Simple, elegantand functional. Would recommend if someone is looking for 2 matching lamps in a small space (like a bedroom) and don't mind a little do-it-yourself work.

I bought one of these lamps for my grandkid’s room so they could have a soft light during the night. It worked out nicely so I bought another one for the spare room.

The packaging of this lamp is the most contorted, needless, and laborious experience to try and unwrap that there is a 99% you'll damage it if you want to get it out of the box and working within 3 hours. And i'll add unpacking it is also irrational, preposturous, unnecessary, extraneous, and tiresome to unwravel the plastic out of the shade. It's brightness could be better: theres 3 levels of light and the ideal one is between its lowest and medium brightness.That said, I'd still buy it again because of the value for money, it is still a touchlamp with chargers for a good deal.

The plugs in the back seem to come out really easy but it is very hard to plug anything into them but it's nice and touch sensitive.

Perfect for bedside tables.

It said box would be damaged not that the lampshades would be MISSING!
