When I opened it to take a look at the kit, I decided to try building it myself first, and then buying her another so it wouldn’t be frustrating if it was too difficult. I’m glad I did, because the biggest problem with the kit is that the direction’s illustrated instructions are sparse and hard to follow. It took me about 8 hours over 8 days to build, mostly because the pieces are very delicate and the fittings are tight (as they should be). By the end of each hour, my fingers hurt from the squeezing required to connect the pieces. Brilliantly, the designer seemed to know which pieces were most likely to break, and included doubles! See the video, I found the build challenging but very satisfying to finally wind it up and see it run!
