Will this pump something the consistency of thin cream. We glaze furniture with a thin solvent glaze from open cans.

If it will freely flow from a jug it should work. I have used from Acetone to auto oil with no problem at all. It seems it would accept something thicker than oil.

Has Justrite ever read their product discriptions on here? 5 liters is not the same as 1 pint and 3 cubic meters is way bigger than a gallon...

How long can I leave acetone sitting in there for? Does it eat away at gaskets?

It won't eat the gaskets, but it WILL evaporate quickly. I tried to use this for cleaning before TIG but I couldn't believe how fast it went empty with acetone. There's nothing air tight about it and the acetone evaporates in days.

Can I use this to dispense acetone?

Don't fall for this. People must be ok with wasting acetone because it evaporates quickly.
