Not made of solid steel. Steam in made of aluminum/Lead. Was expecting solid steel.

I bought this thinking it was iron like the title says. I put this above the fireplace and 30 mins later it was all flat and melted. I wanted iron so it would not melt. This is the cheapest rip off on Amazon I've been taken for.

I was very happy with the weight and quality of this, it is VERY good quality. My mother-in-law loves anything having to do with roses, she will adore this. I ordered the stand as well and it fits perfectly and holds it in a good position for display, I highly recommend the stand because the rose is pretty heavy and it might be difficult to find something else to hold it upright.This makes a beautiful gift, and I’ll be purchasing another one to give my pseudo mom for her birthday.

The Iron Stained Metal Rose is the perfect gift for someone who loves flowers but hates them dying. It is life size and very detailed down to having a thorn that you can almost prick your finger on. It looks like a real rose from every angle. It is very solid and kind of top heavy so needs a sturdy vase to display it in. It also looks good just laying on its side on a shelf. This is really well made and will last many years. It is not one of those really thin metal roses that bend out of shape and break easily.

This is quite unique and would make a wonderful gift. There is a stand for this rose too, I plan to get that and set it on my book shelf.
