I’ve been using this Amazon Basics adjustable wrench set for a few months now, and I’m honestly so impressed—this is easily one of the best tool purchases I’ve made. First off, the wide jaw design is a total game-changer. These open much wider than standard adjustable wrenches, so they fit large nuts, pipes, and awkward fittings that regular wrenches just can’t reach. I’ve used them for plumbing repairs, assembling furniture, working on my car, and even some garden maintenance—they handle every job perfectly. now this is a killer little wrench - way better than anything you'd get in those nameless offbrand tool kits - trust me i have one. This was a life saver in the tight spaces behind and under sinks - Highly recommend it just for general purpose uses - the grips are machine flat and super solid. Quality kit - Great weight not too heavy - really solid adjustable jaws pinpoint precision - and looks like a quality tool as well - love the handle

Don't be misled by the description: this adjustable spanner has a maximum one-and-a-quarter inch wide grip when the jaws are fully open. The other dimensions are irrelevent. One star deducted for the description. This is much wider than any of my conventional spanners (or wrenches), feels very durable too, with solid grip, and the scale is marked in inches as well as metric. Should do an excellent job. Good value for money (inexpensive but good quality).

Superb for the money

I am small with small hands and this tool was a delight to use. I used it to mend my toilet seat which kept shooting off to one side every time anyone sat on it. What a relief! I am sure I will find many more uses in time to come and until then it takes up very little space in the 'handywoman' drawer!
