Great stuff, use tons of it
I work at a reputable used car dealer and every car gets a full buff job before it goes out and I am the guy that handles all of it, i use it all the time, i love it. I obviously reccomend using a buffer to apply it, it cuts well, doesnt leave swirl marks, brings old finishes back to like new status, and takes out 1500 sand scratches with some work. I 3m hand glaze over the top, and collinites on top of that for the finishing touch. This stuff replaced the yellow bottle, and it works just as good. For the person that downs the stuff, with the "dewalt buffer with all the pads", obvously doesnt know how to use it, because with proper use of a buffer you can use any wax and make it work, I just prefer 3M becuase of the ease of use and great workability.

Time tested product.
The buffing compound gets professional results with minimum effort. Too bad it wasn’t delivered to my porch like other items I’ve ordered in the past. It was left 300 feet from my porch next to my work shop service door, in the SNOW and I didn’t see it until I ran over the package with my snow plow. Great product, very poor delivery.

Quality product for that show car shine
This product is the second step product to use for cutting and buffing a automotive clear coat finish after using the rubbing compound. This product will help eliminate swirl marks from the compounding process.

Great System!
Getting a professional-looking shine on one of my black cars was always a challenge. I've tried many off-the-shelf products, with varying degrees of success. So, I finally broke down and bought the three-step 3M Perfect-It system, along with their polishing bonnets. It is expensive when you compare it to the off-the-shelf stuff, but - Wow! - what a result! First, I viewed the product video on You-Tube, then proceeded to go to work on the vehicle, following the instructions on the product bottles. The finish on the car (1993 Porsche) was not bad enough to warrant the sanding step, so I started with the rubbing compound using my Chcago electronic polisher at apx 1200 rpm, then moved on to the polishing steps. Be sure to mask off any areas of the car (or your garage) that you are not working on, as it gets pretty messy! The final result was great, fantastic shine and no swirl marks. I highly reccommend this stuff.

Works great - very mild and just enough cutting action but no swirls left behind with their pad.
Works well with the 3M convoluted waffle pads. This cuts very slow and leaves little to no swirls to remove. It does dry aggressively and is hard to remove when dry. The simple solution is to use a wet microfiber to wipe down any dried on product. This is a polish - not a wax, glaze, etc so complete removal is expected. The color of the product matches the color of the pad to use. Black pad/light gray polish. When done with this use the ultrathin polish for super high gloss. Those are a light blue pad and light blue product. If you need more cutting action though use the foam compounding pad and a more aggressive polish. These are very fine. One last comment. ..some product sling happens when using the 3M recommended pad, polish, and buffer rpm. You will need to shield other areas to prevent a cleanup nightmare. Other than that these work perfect.
