The quality of the robe is worth the price paid. It is light weight, and comfortable. I have washed it a few times, in cold water, and dried on a permanent press dryer setting. It seems to be holding up so far. The item fell short of 5 stars because it's not actually "Terry Cloth," as advertised. Maybe in the country of origin; China, this is considered terry cloth, but in actuality it is more of a microfiber cloth. It does not absorb water the way true terry cloth does, and that should be noted for anyone who is looking for a thicker absorbent authentic terry cloth robe.

I mean, considering the price it’s understandable, which is why I didn’t give a lower star rating. It’s pretty absorbent, but it’s ultra thin and doesn’t feel like you have anything on. My wife loves this robe. The fit and length were great. She really likes the softness and the warmth on those chilly mornings. The fact that it's held up to several washings is a bonus.

If you're in the mood to feel like you're fighting a wet angry cat and that wet angry cat is you, then buy it. It's soft, very soft. If you're dry then it's great. But if you are buying this to use as a Terry bath robe to dry off after a bath or shower, please do not. It's microfiber feeling and your arm will not glide into the sleeve. It will take longer to get into than if you just dried yourself off with a regular towel. Too much friction with wet skin. Returning.

I ordered the Pink & received today. I am 125 lbs. 5 ft. tall & ordered medium. So many reviewers said it is lightweight but not if you're a Californian, it isn't! Not TOO heavy but would work better in a cooler climate.The 'pink' is a TRUE, soft pink! Love it! Sleeves are long for me but I knew they would be. The length is great, comes BELOW the knees (to be expected for short people) I immediately washed it (hot water) & dried on 'hot' also. Cannot detect any noticeable shrinkage. It is very soft after laundering! Considering the price, I'd be hard pressed to come up with a negative & can well recommend this robe!

This is a great cotton robe for anyone who lives in the south. Heavy robes don't work in Houston. This is absorbent and comfortable. It does run big but that isnt a big deal.
