Flawed tongue design (AVOID Torin 5 version)
I'm really disappointed in this revision's tongue design (Torin 5). It's hard and sharp, and cut my ankle. Not like a blister though, it literally sliced into my ankle. I've never had this issue on the previous versions (<4.5) or any shoe ever. I'm wondering if the concept went straight from a sketch on a napkin and to into production with no testing, it's super uncomfortable. The rest of the shoe is fine.Skip it this go around and try to find a Torin 4.5.

Tongue is annoying
The only thing I don't care for on this shoe is the new tongue design. More difficult to 'pull up' when tightening everything for the run. No issues while running though and maybe it's lighter than a traditional tongue? I saw the review with the cut foot. That looks painful. I didn't have any problem like that, but it looks like I wear longer socks than that individual. Do not wear 'no show' socks with this shoe.

Tongue is too stiff
As others have said in their reviews, the tongue is too stiff and rubs on your ankle. This was to be my 7th pair of Torins. Last year's model was one of their best, this year's not so good. I have always worn 10.5 - this year's model is a half size too small. Try on before you buy - I returned these. Wish they would bring back the Torin Plush.

Significantly more narrow than previous versions
Love Altra shoes because they fit the foot form perfectly, but this updated version of Torin is very narrow.
