Expensive Ice-cube tray
I was looking for something to freeze baby food for travel so was really excited when I found this because of the material that it was made from. When it arrived I immediately found that the product was completely lacking in design and functionality. It's basically an ice-tray that is made from high-grade plastic and you bend it like an ice-cube tray to take out the frozen food. Like I said, an ice-cube tray!!The two trays are stackable because the lid of each tray has edges that helps with that. If only the lids themselves stayed in place!!The lids were designed just to cover the tray. There was no way they stayed securely on top, which resulted in all the liquid pouring from the trays on your way to the freezer no matter how steady your hands were!!Once the food was frozen, it comes out in nice cylinders but once you pop out one cylinder, the lid will not close. I guess the trays were designed to depend on the lid staying in place by freezing to the food.Another thing that was disappointing is that I ordered 2 boxes ( so I have 4 trays) because of my excitement and lack of time, one of the boxes arrived in a ziplock bag and the other arrived wrapped in manufacturer plastic even though both were ordered from the same seller and were supposedly "NEW"!!I guess one of their customers changed their mind and decided to return their item.Save your money. I guess I'll be using the Tommee Tippee food containers.

Not good for breastmilk
If you're planning on using these for breastmilk I'd say just skip it and go for something else. They're really messy. The lids that come with them just lay over top of them...they don't snap shut or anything, so they don't keep anything from spilling out. I can't even carry it from counter to fridge without getting milk everywhere. And when the milk is frozen they are a pain to get out...I have to let them thaw a minute to be able to push them out. I thought this would be a better and cheaper alternative to expensive breast milk bags but it's so much of a hassle that I'd rather just buy the bags. I know these were marketed for baby food, and I'd say they'd be fine for that. When I read reviews it looked like others who got this said it was marketed for breast milk..that was not the case with mine. Does it work? Yes, just not with ease.

These work great for freezing breastmilk
These work great for freezing breastmilk. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the lid doesn't snap shut, it just sits on top so you have to be careful not to fill too high and have a perfectly level spot in your freezer. The milk pops out easily after about 1-2 min sitting at room temp and then I dump them all into freezer bags and back into the freezer for daycare. You can fit two "cubes" in a 4oz Dr Browns bottle and 3-4 in an 8 oz bottle. Which is how I take the bottles for daycare or traveling purposes.

The sticks come out easily and storing is much better than the bags
I use these for breast milk and have no complaints! The sticks come out easily and storing is much better than the bags! I haven't used for baby food yet but will when my son is older. Only complaint is that it's hard to tell where to fill for only an ounce, I found there's a slight line in each that is close enough that it fills it but not too much to where it spills when putting in freezer and doesn't freeze over the tops

Great idea!
These were marketed on Amazon as baby food trays. I got them and they are labeled as Breast Milk freezing trays, so I was confused. I did try to use them for breast milk freezing and found them a bit messy; however, the shape of the frozen milk is super nice for dropping in the bottles for daycare. My little guy hasn't started solid food yet, but that's the original purpose for our purchase. I hope it works well for fruit and vegetable purees.

Good purchase...
Easy to use. Works very well for my needs. Mine came in packaging that was different than that shown here. They came branded as breast milk freezer trays, but as far as I can tell they are the exact same thing.

Love them!
I love love love these! I make my own baby food and these are awesome. I like that I know approximate serving size per bar and for introducing new foods I just broke a frozen bar into pieces. Only downside is they can't go in the dishwasher.

Creates well shaped baby food
If you make baby food at home this could be worth the investment. This item is very specific but it does what it says it will do. This item is an ice tray that produces food in a shape that a baby can handle. You might want to say that this does exactly what an ice tray can do but it us impossible to find an ice cube shape that is appropriate for an child's innocent mouth. The materials that this is made out of are as safe as you can get so there shouldn't be any complains there.I really like that I can be sure that I am giving the baby exactly one ounce of baby food. If you make your own food it's nice to not have to think about the exact measurement. One thing to note is the price. Clearly, this is more expensive than a regular ice tray. If you mention something is for a baby the price will clearly go up, but this item is also made of a higher quality plastic. I am very amused though that if you try to purchase this item at Sears.com the price is $54! That is more than twice the MSRP mentioned on amazon. Craziness. This is a great product if you make your own baby food and are looking to monitor your babies intake.
