Very good healing ointment

I have sensitive skin which is almost constantly irritated for one reason or another. I suffer from allergies which give me rashes from using many conventional skin-care products (for example, I cannot use non-mineral chemical sunscreens or strong artificial fragrances). In addition, I have the ironic fate of being super tasty to biting insects and also highly reactive to their bites meaning I'll get 33 mosquito bites when my friends get 3, AND they itch like heck and raise a welt that can sometimes be the size of an egg. Lucky me. Last but not least, I also have an obsessive habit of chronically picking at my cuticles until they bleed. Oh yeah, forgot to mention I also bruise easily :-/What's a hyper-sensitive, neurotic girl like me to do? Why, get some Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment, of course! This stuff is amazing and a godsend. It cures all that ails me. I also love the fragrance. It is naturally floral and not perfume-y or artificial at all. It has helped my bruises heal much quicker. It soothes the itching from bug bites and has significantly reduced the swelling. My poor, abused cuticles heal almost overnight. I make sure to apply Res-Q to my fingers last thing before bed every night. The natural allantoin contained in the comfrey accelerates healing by speeding the development of new skin cells.Yes, this ointment is a natural green color and does leave a slight hint on one's skin. But it's not terribly noticeable, especially if you rub it in well. The botanical base gives it a smooth, pleasant texture which is easily spreadable but not runny in the slightest. If one makes sure to rub it in until it dries, it will not leave a slimy, oily residue. This medicated balm can feel the tiniest bit tingly upon application, but it's very minor and nothing compared to Tiger Balm or Icy Hot.I can't rave enough about this product! It's an absolute must-have in my summer kit for when outdoor activities tend to bring out the worst in my skin, but is handy year-round for those unexpected bumps and cuts. I have Subscribed to the 3-pack to ensure there'll always be more of this stuff on tap so I'll never be without it from now on. One tin will live in my purse, one in my outdoor/travel gear, one by my bed, and another in my medicine cabinet. Love it!!!

I'm sensitive to many lotions and ointments, so I was thrilled to find something that works well for me.Pros:- Works wonders on my sensitive, dry skin- Smells amazing! My husband noticed how good it smelled when I started using it and asked to try it.- A little goes a long wayCons:- This ointment is a bit greasy, so I'd suggest rubbing it in if you plan to use it on your hands.- The tin seemed a bit small for the price, but it's lasted longer than I expected

Not effective for mosquitoes bite

This is one of the best 'natural' ointment products for minor cuts, irritation and blemishes I've ever found. I don't know how it works, but it heals things really fast and even helps pull out pimples to heal them faster too. It's like a little magic salve that heals stuff really quickly and it also soothes irritation as well almost like a cortisone but not a cortisone, and not sure how it does that either. I can't say enough good things about it, it's just a great product. I don't know what else to say, other than you should just try it, and see for yourself.
