Yes its expensive and wish it was cheaper. But it works great and its really fast. Used as my main drive with Windows installed and no issues. Did a crystal disk mark on it and the read and writes are in the 7000mb range.

Extremely high quality. It already has pre applied thermal pads so there's no need to worry about gaps between the drive and the pad itself. I highly recommend this product.

Got it, installed it into my PS5, works perfect

So I got my ps5 back in 2021 and a month later brought a firecuda 530 4t. At the time the SSD was the same price as the ps5. I strongly felt like it was worth it cause now I’m moving found the box. Its still in ps5. had no problems with my Firecuda.

I bought this drive because I have been using 2x 2 TB Firecuda 520 for 2 years now without a hitch. So I felt confident in spending $800+ on this drive, because I expected a similar experience. Unfortunately that isn't the case. This drive died on me shortly after installation. I installed Windows 11 and put it though light gaming/multimedia use. One day while copying files to the drive, my computer crashed, and it stopped booting to Windows. I immediately sensed my installation was corrupt, so I tried to reinstall Windows on it. Long story short, my computer no longer detects this drive. I have to RMA it now, and we all know RMA experiences are fun with hardware manufacturers. Massive disappointment. Edit: The replacement "refurbished" drive that I received from the RMA, already had 18 TB written and 17 TB read from it. Terrible experience!

I have a HP Zbook G9 laptop and its only flaw was that it had a "small by today's standards" 1TB NVME internal SSD. I asked the manufacturer and it took months of going back and forth to find out if I could put a larger SSD product... and at the time, which was a couple of months ago, they had no clue. Finally they proposed one of their own products for an extorsionate price and only 2TB. So I thought let's try this one - I could always return it if it overheated which was my main concern, as it was going to be installed without a heatsink and in a laptop - when nowhere in the product description does it say that it's suitable to a laptop. It mentions tower systems and it mentions PS5 but not laptop. So I tried it. Four months later I do not regret giving it a try: it has worked perfectly. Not only do I no longer have to worry about running out of storage space on my large video editing projects, but the SSD is super fast. My concerns about overheating were eclipsed: when working really hard the device reached around 59 degrees celcius, which is well within design/operational limits and bearing in mind the CPU is measured at 98 degrees celcius and GPU at 80 degrees celcius, is pretty cool in comparison! So this has worked really well for me.

Purchased the Seagate FireCuda 530 4TB for AUD $786.61 Bought this as it was heavily discounted being an imported product. Used this as part of my first pc build in a mini-itx case. Fantastic performing SSD. Waiting for another price drop for my next mini-itx build

Dieser Slot hat direkte CPU Anbindung, teilt sich aber die Bandbreite mit dem 1-ten PCI-E Steckplatz (maximal 4.0 x8) und dem 3-ten M.2 Slot. Falls jemand vorhaben sollte, die FireCuda 530 mit 4 TB in einem externen SSD-Gehäuse zu installieren, so wird es momentan nicht möglich sein diese zu initialisieren, da der M.2 NVMe SSD-Strombedarf über 3 A liegt. Beim Initialisierungsversuch in der Windowsdatenträgerverwaltung erscheint dann eine Fehlermeldung: Schwerwiegender Hardwarefehler... . - lässt sich nicht initiallisieren in M.2 NVMe SSD Gehäuse mit Realtek Controller RTL9210B - lässt sich nicht initiallisieren in M.2 NVMe SSD Gehäuse mit JMicron Controller JMS583 - lässt sich nicht initiallisieren in M.2 NVMe SSD Gehäuse mit ASMedia Controller ASM2364

I ordered the 4TB without heatsink version…Received the item…once I opened the package I noticed that the SSD Retail Box seal is broken…opened and No SSD!! Luckily seller was Amazon & thankfully refunded me…dunno how a 850$ SSD gets stolen. On a side note Seagate should change the packaging of this SSD, it’s very easy once you open the box to take the SSD out.
