When you get THIS, youare going to the farm team for the big league.get yourself the 'kit' lens, a zoom, and a macro lens; a nice big bag, 2 spare batteries (it came with 1), and a tripod.Not all at once; srart with the kit lens.Get the kindle app and the Ebook for the d3500, download it in you phone, and create an icom to it, and it's always at hand.enjoy.
