Very simple, effective, and easy to use
Great bass amp. Very simple and easy to use. Very functional, that is, does what an amp is supposed to do: makes the very quiet signal produced by an electric bass loud enough to be heard by performers and an audience without distorting the sound, that is, by reproducing it well. The amp tuner is also the best I have found.

Great sound!
I got this amp when I first picked up the bass, I wasn't sure how it was going to sound but I couldn't think of getting a different one now. The sound and the control I have over it are amazing.

I drink my Orange 🍊 Crush 25w everyday!
Orange of course makes great products and we all know that. But choosing an amp , bass or guitar isn't something you should do by "brand name". I love Orange Amps and their cabinets, heads because of that classic British Rock sound that it naturally gives out and the sleak classy look of their products, also it's the Sound that I am looking for. Definitely make sure you do extensive research on any instruments or amplifiers you seek to purchase. You may want a Marshall because you see all your favorites play Marshall (which is a stellar brand as well) but come to find out that Ampeg is more your sound or you just might like how Orange Amps sounds according to your specific sound, pedals, what you see your music becoming. Don't just buy stuff because it's expensive or has a stellar name. But buy instruments and amplifiers that fit to your own personal sound and vision. Still, with that being said Orange Amps are incredible and the only amplifier that I will recommend. I bought this Orange Crush 25 for practice and light recording and it's absolutely perfect and sounds as good if not better than it's larger siblings like the massive 500w that can pull a house down. So yeah I'm a Orange Amps Man through and through.

Nice bass amp, good sound; nice features
I’m a beginner on the bass after playing the guitar for a few years now. Have a new bass to learn on and this new bass amp does the job for practicing at home. That’s what I’ve used it for so far and all I likely will use it for. Can go nice and loud, volume can go all the way up and play deep notes without degrading or distorting quality. Sure, I wish it could go even louder but probably want a 200watt mega amp too! I usually practice at 50% volume just fine and turn it up when I want a bit more power to the sound. Notes are clear. No static or buzz at all for me.I like that it has a little built in LED tuner right on this unit. You can use it to tune your strings to their correct tightness. Or as a beginner l, you can use it to verify the note you are playing on the fretboard which is really helpful for me. I know a little portable one also works probably, but this was a nice little extra to find.

Motivating practice
I bought this for my grandson. His practicing is much more satisfying to him than with his previous equipment. His parents say the amp is of good quality.

Orange Crush 50W Bass Combo
Sweet little practice combo from Orange. Sturdy, well-built and well-appointed. EQ with midrange sweep lets you dial in all the tones you could want for its primary purpose. Plenty loud for the bedroom. Don't expect to rock out with this amp, and certainly not in a full band setting. And don't expect subsonic, chest-pounding thump either, because that's not what this amp is for. That said, the 12" speaker will push out some low-end chunk with authority, in context. The gain/blend feature is fantastic, and imo is what really gets this amp into awesome territory. Don't let fizzy youtube reviews fool you. It brings the fuzz. Sounds great, super fun, super diverse. Tuner is nice but is the one thing that feels a little cheap. Aux input is ok. Don't see myself using it much but it's there. If you know Orange, and you want a solid practice combo with a wide palette of tones and some grit, and don't need a lot of bells and whistles, give it a shot.Jan 2022 update: My needs changed and I have found the AUX input/headphone jack essential! Needing to learn a bunch of classic rock songs quickly, and in a living situation where I gotta stay pretty quiet, I've been running spotify on a laptop into the AUX input, and headphones from the jack on the amp, which cuts the speaker. I can hear myself playing along perfectly, the streaming audio quality is serviceable, and I can balance the sound using my laptop's and my guitar's volume controls. Amp volume knob controls what comes out of the headphones. I didn't anticipate needing this, but the Orange Crush met the challenge (and has since become my best friend). Score one more for Orange!

Great sound
The sound is very clear and it has less buzz with single pickups than my fender rumble 25. Very clear tone with a bunch of nobs to mess with.
