Good touch up

Great product to have on hand for those accidental crevasses marked into your wooden doors, window frames & baseboards. May not be to your exact tone, but much nicer than looking at raw unstained gouges. Great alternative if you don't have the original stain especially if you've bought a new home. Inexpensive & easy to use. Definitely great to have on hand.

I was a bit disappointed because it truly is a stain, not necessarily a cover up. We had a nicked up piece of furniture (the kind that's light wood stained a darker color.) The corners and edges had white wear areas. I tried to cover it with this marker and it the white showed right through. I guess I expected it to be more opaque so I could hit the correct, dark walnut color in 1 or two passes. Since it's so transparent, it would have been easier to just use actual stain, from a bottle or can, and build it up the old fashioned way. Since this is a touch up marker, it gives the impression you'd be able to do a quick cover up with one or two passes, but it just wasn't the case. It works great if you've got a scratch in a piece of furniture and the lighter color of the wood is showing through the scratch. All you have to do is draw over this sloppily, and have a rag near by to rub it into the scratch while wiping off the excess...otherwise you'd see a distinct marker swipe.

This stain marker is a real game changer. I had scuffs on my coffee table and this marker covered them perfectly. I wasn't sure I ordered the right color and it did look darker when I applied the stain but it dried and blended in well. Covered all marks well and so glad I bought it.

Covers scratches on hardwood floors amazingly. Can’t do without it! Price is a little high. Will be price checking at other suppliers

Works really good on antlers after euro moutninf

Worked quite well on covering up scratches on my vinyl flooring but didn't think it lasted very long. Basically, I was hoping to get more use out of the marker but it does work well.
