Best natural treat.
My dog loves these treats. I love that they are natural and do not have unpronounceable ingredients. They smell and taste good too! Lol. Give them a try!

So disappointed⦠again!!
I started buying these big chews often because my growing Rottie loves them! Sadly the quality of this brand has declined over the past 3 bags Iāve purchased. First, they sent me the wrong size bag of small bites awhile back and I had to jump thru hoops to get it replaced but they had to replace them since I paid for the 1 lb bag of larger chews. They let me keep the bites though and they were small and rock hard. I couldnāt give those to my dog, heād choke! The replacement bag they sent arrived damp and moldy so I had to throw it out and now the bag I received today are rock hard, and overly dried out pieces (picture above). My dog wonāt even eat them⦠And he eats everything!! Since theyāre non returnable or refundable, I know Iām taking a gamble whenever I buy them on whether theyāll be really good or inedible. Lately theyāve been inedible. =\ And the disclaimer they put on their description stating the texture may vary is irrelevant because a little harder is understandable, ROCK hard chews are not!! So now Iāve ordered another brand- Caledon Farms here on Amazon and I can only hope that they are fresh and high quality!! It really sucks to have to spend so much money just to find good, natural treats tho! Iām out $14 again on a bag I have to throw away! The things we do for our pups!

Only one ingredient. Husky loves them.
Great treat for my husky. I cut them into smaller pieces. Can be very hard, maybe not good for tiny dogs that cannot chew them up well. I have a hard time cutting them into smaller pieces sometimes , not all pieces are that hard. Softer in centers. Great thatās itās only sweet potatoes and nothing else. I can recommend for all big dogs, Huskyās are mid size but strong teeth and bite.

High quality but EXTREMELY inconsistent
I have been purchasing this product for the past 6 to 9 months and have found the product to be very high-quality in that it is a single ingredient, however the consistency is quite poor. This dog treat is VERY expensive (for the amount of product given) and the company should aim to provide as much consistency as possible. Some bags have whole, thick slices of dehydrated sweet potato and others contain shriveled up, rolled, sharp, very thinly sliced pieces. Yet other bags have had cross cut pieces of what were obviously whole slices of sweet potato, cut into at least four pieces. I have a giant breed dog and the thick, whole slices are ideal. It is what is featured in the advertising of the product and yet this is not the product that is received even 50% of the time. I just got off the phone with customer service representative, Hannah, and though she was kind, I did not feel as if she was really taking my complaint all that seriously. She kept trying to tell me that they cannot guarantee consistency because the size of the sweet potato coming in from the farmers will vary in size, depending upon the season. I told her that I appreciated that and understood that they could not regulate this given that it was a natural product, however she could not answer why some pieces were sliced extremely thinly, such that they roll up into sharp little straw-like pieces. She also could not answer or offer any commentary on the thickly sliced, large pieces that have obviously been cross cut into at least four smaller pieces. She stated that thatās not something that they do and she inquired as to whether not I was buying another one of their products and I assured her that I was not buying anything other than the sweet potato dog treat chews. She kept saying that sometimes they will break into pieces but I assured her that many times I was receiving a bag of sliced, dehydrated sweet potatoes that had obviously been cross- cut with a straight edge. She didnāt indicate that they were going to investigate. She didnāt ask me to mail a bag back to them. She didnāt ask me to take a photo and send it to them she didnāt seem interested in resolving the situation any further than making notes and taking it back to the powers that be. That much is appreciated, however I was very dissatisfied with the phone call. I would love for her to have indicated that she would investigate as to why Cros cut pieces are being sent out into customers homes. I also offered the suggestion that they more thickly slice the smaller sweet potatoes that they get, so that they donāt roll into sharp objects. I will purchase a couple more bags and if the cross-cut pieces continue, Iām going to buy a dehydrator and start making my own. I would prefer to buy their product given the high-quality, but the consistency is just so variable that many times we end up throwing away the tiny pieces that are a choking hazard. Extremely satisfied with the product when the slices are thick and Whole. Extremely dissatisfied with the product when the slices are thin, rolled up and shriveled and sharp and small. Only moderately satisfied with the product when the large pieces are obviously cross cut Extremely satisfied with the product when the slices are thick and whole. Extremely dissatisfied with the product when the slices are thin, rolled up and shriveled and sharp and small. Only moderately satisfied with the product when the large pieces are obviously cross cut (which is occurring, despite customer serviceās denial that they ever do this). Rather dissatisfied with the customer service. All I wanted was for them to investigate and provide a more consistent product but I felt as if my commentary fell on moderately deaf ears.

Jazzy will eat this sweet potato!
I was unsure about buying Wholesome Pride Sweet Potato Mini Bites Dog Treats for a couple of reasons. First, some reviews described their texture as crunchy, and second, Jazzy tends to swallow things whole if she can and i was afraid she'd do that with these pieces depending on how small they are. She is now 12 and was a rescue dog that had had no medical or dental care for 7 years and had dental disease. She was too afraid and anxious to allow me to brush her teeth so I began by giving her Teenie Greenies that were soaked in warm water until they became soft, then over months she was able to chew on Petite Greenies (the correct size for her weight - she's a Jack Russell) without soaking. I did also worry about the possibility of sharp edges but I liked that the only ingredient is sweet potato. I also know regular slices of dried sweet potato I gave to prior dogs was more hard/chewy than softer and thought this may be easier for her to handle. I was so surprised, she loves them and spent quite a bit of time chewing on the piece then looked for more. The pieces are small but large enough that I doubt she'll be able to swallow a piece without chewing. They do have sharp edges as other reviewers have noted but I always sit with a dog that is chewing on a treat to make sure nothing happens. As a suggestion, I have used a file to smooth out sharp edges on other treats I've given to other dogs. If she continues to gnaw on them they'll also help to keep her teeth clean. Jazzy loves baked sweet potatoes with a little cinnamon sprinkled on them so I'm glad there is a treat with the only ingredient is sweet potato! All in all, a good product but could be better if they were manufactured without sharp edges. Additionally, these treats have only one ingredient - sweet potato - and have no fillers, preservatives, etc. and are grown and manufactured in the U.S. so they are also safe for my parrots. The love them! The pieces are small enough for them to handle (a Timnah African and a Severe Macaw) and it keeps them busy for awhile as well as being a healthy part of their diet. They come running over when they see me coming with the bright orange bag!

I have 2 very small dogs so I cut them in half before I give them to my pups. I also let them dry out a bit before I give it to them so they have to chew a little bit harderš¶

My Golden Retriever gets one at every meal so I always have to make sure Iām not paying too much. She grabs it and takes it to her āspecial spotā to eat.

Our dog absolutely loves these treats, but need to control how many he gets as they are not inexpensive

The slices were all pieces. No one whole slice in the bag.

Pourtant, il aime les patates douces. Ne recommanderai pas cette sorte ou de cette compagnie.
