Has the wood been boiled??** A: Hello, Natural driftwood can make the water a little brown or yellow in color. But that only happen when you put a huge amount of driftwood in the small aquarium. A single or couple piece of driftwood won't change the aquarium color. Also, this driftwood are already treated and boiled so they won't float around in the aquarium. Safe for fish or shrimp. Thanks for the question! **Q: Can this plant be used in a Betta fish bowl with no harm to the fish?** A: Most betta fish love Anubias Nana! These plants have huge, broad leaves that make perfect chairs for bettas. In fact, there’s a lot of betta specific plastic aquarium furniture made to look like the Anubias Nana because bettas really enjoy getting their siesta on with them. These are a great addition to your betta’s bowl. But of course, you have to be careful with the sizes of plant and bowl to prevent betta jammed on it. **Q: Can these be placed in a fountain or do they need to be completely submerged in water?** A: Needs to be placed completely in water. If not the plant will dry out and leaves will fall off. Hoped this helped. **Q: Is it possible to propogate these to put it in other tanks?** A: Yes. You need to separate at the rhizome (the heavy stalk that grows parallel to the driftwood or rock). Then attach it to another piece of driftwood, rock, etc. NOTE: The plant will not survive if the rhizome is planted in substrate. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice addition., healthy plant. *by J***. on October 2, 2026* Smaller than expected but arrived healthy and attractive.
