Worked perfectly in one of my controllers but gave me a little trouble in the other. Finally got both all buttoned up and back to normal, and charging once again.

Finding the right battery replacement for my PS3 controller was a game-changer. After struggling with short battery life, I decided to give this replacement a try, and I couldn't be happier. While these batteries provide a massive boon in capacity - the degree is overstated. The true capacity is closer to 1,300mAh, double the battery life of the original 650mAh battery, but not the listed 1,800mAh. Other than that, these batteries are fully compatible with PS3 Dualshock and Sixaxis controllers, and they're definitely cheap. They also fit perfectly after you remove the secondary inner frame some controllers use. Installation isn't any harder than replacing the battery in any PS3 controller - it's Sony's fault the controllers are hard to work on. The included screwdriver is a PH size too small, but the metal is so soft you can sand it down yourself.

I had (3) PS3 controllers that were only playable if connected with USB and only lasted about 5 minutes on battery power. I did see the reviews about the casing not being accurate at 1800mah and it being deceitful. Honestly, for the price of 3 batteries and the 30 mins it took me to swap out all three, it doesn't really matter. They all 3 charged and are working. It remains to be seen if the battery quality of life is gonna be any good, but for now, I can say they worked. Like others mentioned, please be mindful of the reset button and the orientation of the spacers between the L and R buttons. Youtube is your friend. The batteries fit just fine on the larger plastic base, I removed the smaller white one that the original battery was on. I applied a very small dab of super glue to one of the corners just to hold the battery in place while I put the control back together. Worked fine.

I mean the batteries work... But they were the came capacity at the one I had... So kind of disappointing but at least it has a feather battery... All in all, good for a pinch repair is like 5 minutes maybe 10 rolls of your haven't done it before

The first set I ordered worked until the battery drained and no method of recharging worked so I returned them for replacement and the second set would not charge either not with the cord attached to the playstation nor to a charge cube or the charge stand for ps3 they also ran down to nothing I don’t think these are rechargeable I will not buy again

I bought this after I pulled my PS3 out of storage as I was feeling nostalgias...But my controllers were not working...its old and after some searching found that it may be possible that the batteries may have died and will not take a charge anymore...I purchased this with the thought of changing the batteries and playing again...turns out that I only needed to use the cord that came with it to reset the controllers signal/charging..If that makes sense..because the cable I was using was bad...long story short...controllers work I can play all my games again from PS1 up to PS3 on that system and I have extra batteries if I ever need them...

They say they work with my controllers because I checked my model numbers. But the only thing is they don't work fully, because they're missing the built-in legs for the battery. There's no bracket like the YouTube videos I watch, and that's probably because my controllers are limited edition controllers, they still work. There's just no legs holding them in place. Oh, well.
