Hue (Archaic Book 2)

I did enjoy this book but not as much as the first one. A big part of that was the fact that Ava kept lying and keeping things from Jared. Even though she told him she would stop. I hate when characters act like that. I did like the ending and I'm curious to know what happens in the next book.

I like book one but book two is a filler. About 80% the heroine was in pain and then she go dumped cause she tried protecting the h from getting killed by healing her pain. Then of course he moves on to another girl. When the new girl was introduced I pretty much predicted that he was going to be a douche. The storyline focus was all about the heroine being in pain. Day in day out for 3/4 of the book. No actions or the heroine training as much. This made me lose interest. When the action finally came I wasn't even interested anymore. When she finally transcend to be a descendant, he dumped her. I just flipped through the end and lost interest at this point since the plot was predictable already. Didn't want to read the h being with someone else the usual cliche plot. Boring storyline. I wish the author spent more time with the heroine training and being a kick as. Instead we get a heroine always having a panic attack., crying, weak, in pain, and being dumped. I give this two stars for the writing was pretty good and the emotions of the characters were shown rather than being told. I would still recommend this book but I suggest not until book three is out since it does end on a cliffhanger. I am not sure if I will buy book three since I can't stand the h but maybe I will since at the end the heroine did started showing some back bone. Maybe if Mason is more in the picture the h twin as a payback I will read book 3.

I was kind of disappointed with this book. It seemed like nothing really happened. I was glad the book started right were the first book left off but I felt more could have been written. The timeline is also a little slow. Everything happens within a few weeks and to me that seems a little unrealistic. I hope the next book is better as I'm not ready to give up on this series yet.

Book 2 is every bit as intriguing as the first one was. The characters are engaging, the story keeps your attention, the plot thickens. A good clean read.

Started slow, enjoyed the book.Not crazy about the ending, looking forward to seeing it resolved.

This books had me so emotional! I felt my heart break when Ava’s did! I can’t wait to read book 3!

A fast read it has a good plot making you want the next book. Can't wait for oct14th to get here.

I loved this book. So much drama it keeps you on your toes! I can't wait for the next one to come out.

This second book really tugs at all your emotions. Jared well what an idiot... I think Ava should fall for his brother Mason, as he was such a douche. Lots of twists in the storyline. Ava has become something else and now she really does need to fear for her life as some one more evil and powerful is coming for her. This book was better than the first it had so much more to it. Recommended

I need book three now! This was brilliant. I loved both books and hope I don't need to wait to long! If you like paranormal books then this series is a must!

Lovely story can't wait for the 3rd book to be released. Would recommend to anyone who wants a story that keeps you engrossed from beginning to end.

Series is okay just the books could have more going on tbh.find myself skim reading a lot as its just same cycle all time. For example every few page their is someone asking if she wants a drink. Also jareds brother was beary in it so dunno y he was on front of the book. Too slow. Not enough going on and nearly enough action. No twist and turns. Accept Emma obviously being like she was before they tried changing her energy. Hopefully she falls for jareds brother, if she ends up with any feelings at all. Just hope Jared doesn't link to her as well. The bond he has with Eva should be just theirs. Find it stupid how Jared hasn't noticed what's happenings to Emma. I'm not even bothered if they don't help help her, honestly I hope they find out when it's too late. She doesn't seem nice when she's not in San emotionless state. Don't like how Jared is being towards Eva seems immature and that really put me off. Hope Eva gets gets with jareds twin tbh. Cz I couldn't care with how immature they have made him. From out of nowhere
