Overall good - would appreciate better filtering for allergens.
I bought this for mowing the lawn - I have horrific allergies, and I have a coupe acres to mow. Today was the first use. I'll say that I'm still absolutely hating life right now due to allergy symptoms, but I was out about 4x as long as I was last time without it with the same results. It's nice that it covers the whole face and down the neck - I'm sunburned on my legs and arms, but my face is fine. I've had to wear the N85 masks before frequently, and I can't wait to get those things off after 10 minutes. I wore this for 2 hours today and was surprised that it wasn't hotter, especially being black. It also never built up any sweat inside - it was still basically dry when I took it off. I'm going to do a little more experimenting and try one run with an N85 mask and goggles and see if that makes much difference; if so I'll report back. The fit was good - you put it on and bend the nose bridge to fit; I must have a large-is head as the velcro was about right in the middle when I secured it. It stayed in place well - I didn't have to touch it once in the 2 hours. Overall I think it's well made, and would be awesome for ATVing; mowing is just MUCH dirtier and worse.

I like it
This one seems better that the old version because of the ear straps. It’s fully adjustable and the nose bender is much more beefy. Will test on trail soon

Works so far...
My yard has lots of big trees, so I get LOTS of leaves. Too many leaves. So, I bought a lawn vacuum to suck up and mulch the leaves. The problem with that is that it creates a lot of nasty leaf dust and particulate, which leads to sinus infections. So...I needed to figure something out. Cheap Home Depot dust masks weren't really doing the trick, so I read reviews and did research and hemmed and haw'd about which dust mask I should try that might work for what I needed it for. I finally went out on a limb and picked this one, and I really like it. No cartridges to deal with, no elastic bands around my face, etc. etc. This wraps around and attaches with velcro in the back. It keeps the dust out and has the vents that help let the moisture out so you don't feel like you're suffocating the whole time you're wearing it. I've used it several times now, and gave it a good hand washing and it's pretty much perfect for what I need it for. I bought a second one for my wife to use when she helps out in the yard with all the leaves as well. So, for what I use it for, it's great.

Not perfect but gets the job done in style.
I was looking for alternatives to a regular dust mask due to the fact that that I have a beard. I bought this after doing some research. I needed a dust mask that would not smash down my beard but could protect it as well. I've been using this for about 3 weeks, a few days a week, worn for 2-3 hrs at a time mainly to sand joint topping/smooth set walls. Basically fine white powder dust. I'll start off by saying that I know this wasn't designed for this, but it does the job in my case. It doesn't make a complete seal, slides down your face from time to time, and makes you sweat quite a bit. On the plus side, with good ventalation the cons become almost irrelevent. All in all, it works good for me and I a happy with my purchase. People are constantly asking about it. I mean come on, it looks bad ass and works! Im buying another for my B.O.B. and another one for riding.

A bandana works just as well
I bought this for Burning Man. We were out on the playa a week before the event, doing construction in constant whiteout conditions (yes guys... Dustcapolypse DID happened. Just not during the burn). While doing construction, I pretty much wore this mask religiously. I later switched to a regular bandana, because it was screenprinted with the logo of our art project.Pros:-This dust-mask works. I wasn't breathing in dust despite being out on the playa for constant wind and dust-storms.-It fits. You need to adjust the nose, but I never had any trouble with it not fitting.-It looks badass. The little gas-mask nozzles drew lots of compliments.Cons:-My doubled up regular bandana worked just as well for dust.-It's hot compared to wearing a regular bandana-It's more awkward to slip on and off. With my bandana, I had it tied around my neck, and would pull it on or off depending on the conditions. This dust-mask is secured with velcro and some sort of metal-moldable nose grip. When it's not on, it kind of hangs awkwardly around your neck because the inner mask portion is so stiff. Usually when you pull it on, you have to re-velcro it to make sure it's secure on your nose.So basically it works, but in my opinion, it's not worth spending 30 bucks on when a normal bandana works just as well.

Decent
Pretty good mask. I used it at Burning Man and got compliments on how cool it looked. It can become a little uncomfortable on your nose after a few hours and fit a little big since I have a small face. However, it did really well in the dust storms and I didn't have problems with my lungs or coughing. It also fit well under my ski googles and it was nice that it covered down my chest. The Velcro on the back was not ideal. It was constantly getting caught on my hair and would slip down causing the mask to be loose. They could improve this by having a tie or snap closure. Overall, though, it did its job. I was on playa for eleven days and dealt with white outs, construction, deconstruction, etc. I did switch to a regular bandanna a few days in due to comfort, but started having problems with the dust and switched back.
