The comfort of the chair would likely be very nice if it had a taller back for someone my height (6'1"). The chair does have a lot of adjustments which makes it capable of suiting a wide array of folks. The recline feature could use improvement as the first place you can lock in the back angle is too far forward and the second is too far back, for me any way. The chair is comfortable and I would recommend it to someone around the 5'10" or less area. At my height I will continue to use it while understanding the back height could be better. I have quite a few high priced desk chairs and this one is better than some. I tend to lean towards the Aeron by Herman Miller more than this one overall but I wanted a leather chair so I tried this one out. The best feature for me is when I have the recline feature open to be able to rock or lean all the way back. If I scrunch down just a bit or move my bottom forward a touch the back is sufficient for a long telephone conversation or relaxing for a moment. ### ⭐ Horrible chair *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2018* I am 5'11" tall. The headrest hits about at the middle of shoulders. You end up leaning forward. The chair is so stiff that it's like rowing to push the seat back on lowest tension. You need to push with your legs constantly to keep the chair back and/or use the back muscles. Thus, sitting in the chair, you are either leaning too far forward or using legs and back muscles to keep the chair back. Both of my daughters (5'6" and 5'4") tried it out, and also did not like it.It's useless as no one wants to sit in it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very much like it. Lots of adjustments and comfortable *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2018* Very much like it. Lots of adjustments and comfortable. I am 5' 11' and it's perfect for me. Just the head rest is short for my height. I do not recommend it for anyone taller. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/37305186-gm-seating-bodylux-smart-genuine-leather-task-hi-swivel-chair](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/37305186-gm-seating-bodylux-smart-genuine-leather-task-hi-swivel-chair) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
