Shaghaf Oud

This is one of my favourite fragrances from Swiss Arabian. The oud is not too intense and mixes well with the saffron. There is a caramel and vanilla scent in the dry down, which is perfect for this autumnal weather. The longevity is good, and the projection is strong. It is also excellent value for money.

Until now, I've not been a fan of Oud fragrances, the fragrance note combinations haven't quite hit it for me. This week I was in a Jo Malone store, and liked the smell of the Velvet Rose and Oud Eau de perfume, but could not justify the price tag. I read some recommendations online for this fragrance as an alternative, and am so glad I did. I received this within a couple of days, and the genius idea for the seller to include a tester strip with the fragrance already sprayed, meant if I didn't like it I could return it for a refund. However, it's an absolutely beautiful fragrance, gender neutral. It's much nicer, and lasts longer than the Jo Malone perfume i tested in store, in my opinion. Brilliant and very thoughtful seller. Gorgeous fragrance, cannot go wrong here!

It’s lovely smell Unfortunately isn’t last as long as I would like , but it’s still lasting about 4h which isn’t bad at all I choose to buy it because it was viral at one point and everyone was talking about this perfume

Before you even open the package they give you a sample strip so you can see if you want to actually keep it before you open it (I hope all perfume stores online do this). When I decided to open the box and use the perfume for a date I was going on, I was met with the most beautiful floral and earthy scent ever. The next day I could still smell the scent on me and it shows no sign of going away. I was very surprised seeing as this perfume has lasted way longer and smells better than more expensive perfumes I’ve bought in the past. 100% buying again after I’ve run out. Also in love with the packaging box.

Came wrapped up in original wrapping. Absolutely love this perfume, it's my favourite, and my go to. It's strong enough for you to be able to smell it on yourself, with no alcohol-y smell. Deep scent, and lasts for so long. Can still smell it on clothes that were sprayed a week prior. Not a floral scent if that's what you're looking for, but has Saffron and Vanilla, with a strong base note of Oud. Gorgeous and worth the money!

Smells too smokey and abrasive. It smells like you chain-smoke cigarettes and tried to cover it up with a perfume.

Bought this a while ago and have only just got round to reviewing, amazing scent, strong and projects for hours! This smells like a much more expensive fragrance, if you purchase this you will not be disappointed

Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian is one of those fragrances that instantly grabs your attention. The opening is rich with saffron, giving it a warm and slightly spicy character. As it develops, the heart reveals a smooth rose and oud combination that feels refined rather than overpowering. The dry down is where this fragrance truly shines, with creamy praline, vanilla, and a touch of oud creating a sweet, luxurious, and comforting finish. The quality is outstanding for the price. It smells niche-inspired and has a dense, well-blended composition that feels much more expensive than it is. Performance: Longevity: 9–12+ hours on my skin. Projection: Strong for the first 2–3 hours, then settles into a noticeable scent bubble. Sillage: Above average—people around you will notice it. This is best suited for cooler weather, evenings, and special occasions, although I enjoy wearing it whenever I want to feel confident and well-dressed. If you enjoy sweet oriental fragrances with saffron, oud, vanilla, and praline, Shaghaf Oud is an easy recommendation and one of the best values in its price range

Amazing by swiss arabian

After seeing some of the negative reviews and commentary about what has become my favorite fragrance in my life thus far, I thought it would be important to add at least one more log to the fire in its defense. Perhaps Shaghaf Oud is polarizing, but part of what makes it so unique is its singularity. The initial blast is surprisingly harsh — metallic, almost a bit like gasoline — but it fades quickly, revealing a deep and nuanced fragrance reminiscent of (to me) the finest (unlit) cigar, a lovely and well-furnished family library replete with countless volumes covered in leather, the glorious complexity of brown sugar crisping on the surface of a confection in the oven, and the silken rich warmth of incense coupled with the lingering stickiness of vanilla beans. I don’t find it to be masculine, I simply find it to be dark and mysterious, with strong scent projection. I don’t want to wear perfume I can’t personally smell, and at the end of the day, I can still catch a strong whiff of Shaghaf Oud still lingering in my skin - I get at least twelve hours of wear and even longer on clothing. I enjoy it so much, I wear it every chance I get. There will always be Shaghaf Oud in my collection! To be honest, I can seem to stop collecting every Swiss Arabian perfume I find. It’s still the best, even though I like them all :)

The Twin but more Expensive Version of Oud Mood
