Better than a bottle conditioner
I was skeptical about this product, but I wanted to reduce the amount of plastic containers I use, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I am so glad I did! I've been using this bar for about a month or so now, and I can honestly tell you that I've never had such delightfully soft, silky hair. I mean, I find myself touching it throughout the day which I know is a weird thing to say, but it's kind of a novelty for me! For reference, I have long, slightly wavy Asian hair which, although generally healthy, tends to be a little "stiff." There is one small drawback, however, in that there's a bit of a learning curve to using this. The first word of advice is that a little goes a long way. The problem with a conditioner bar is that there's not a lot of good tactile feedback; bottle conditioner is very satisfying in the way that you can see it go on, and you can feel it squishing through your fingers. This tough...it doesn't lather, it's pretty much invisible, and you don't realize it's really "in" until you comb your fingers through your hair and find that your tangles are gone. I would use a wide tooth comb to do this so that you can get it distributed well. I love the fruity fragrance of this conditioner too; it's not terribly strong, and it doesn't particularly linger. If you have issues with fragrance, it may still bother you, but it's definitely not as strong as many other hair care products out there. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I hope this helps anyone on the fence.

Good for the environment
Peach Not Plastic from the amazing Grove Collaborative is all about reinventing the traditional bottle of shampoo and conditioner and turning it in to an eco-friendly, sulfate free, amazing smelling bar and I am in love. After my first use of the Peach Not Plastic Conditioning bar I could tell as soon as I rubbed the bar on my ends that my hair was getting silky-smooth and totally detangled. Once my hair had dried and it was time to brush it out, I had all the proof I needed to know this is one awesome conditionerโand I only needed a tiny bit to get the results I wanted. The fact that this is achieved mostly with coconut, sunflower and shea butter was even more impressive to me. Just one round, and I've become obsessedโand my hair is looking better for it, too.

good but doesn't moisturize that well
i bought the two pack, they are really good and i get compliments that my hair smell good all the time plus it makes me feel a little better about the environment. that being said they have some down falls, if you are used to liquid shampoo and conditioner it can be kinda weird using these for the first few times but i found that for the shampoo -wash your hair twice, first time is for products and surface oils, second time is to clean your scalp and hair -scrub the bar on your hand then put the suds on your hair to prevent knotting and breaking opposed to scrubbing ur scalp with the bar - and for the conditioner i like to rub it in between my palms and there will be a little excess conditioner on the corners and sides of the bar, i use that to lather my ends and really soak it in there, it works like normal conditioner in a bottle if you use it that way - it also helps to try to go an extra day between washes every time (i wouldn't exceed a week or so depending on your hair type, some people can go 3 or so weeks), this helps with your hair not producing so much oils after washes and keeps your hair clean longer, also oiling your hair between washes helps with dry hair ( i recommend google for that) i hope this helps!

Great scent but product was disappointing on my hair. (Updated)
Update: The company reached out to me and worked to make things right. Iโve added a star, as few companies really reach out to address customer issues to this degree. I genuinely appreciate when people truly stand behind their product! Let me start off by stating that I have long, thick, curls. This product smells amazing. I was disappointed in the results of the conditioner, though. It worked passively well to work most of the tangles out of my hair but did little beyond this. Your mileage may vary but for myself, I will pass on this product.

It's a win-win for both my hair and the planet.
The Peach not Plastic Conditioner Bar has transformed my hair care routine, and its commitment to being plant-based, vegan, and eco-friendly aligns perfectly with my values. This bar is a true game-changer for moisturizing dry, damaged, and dull hair. The silky softness it leaves behind is remarkable, and I appreciate how well it works on my hair without the use of plastic packaging. The fact that it's not only effective but also environmentally conscious adds an extra layer of satisfaction to my daily self-care routine. Peach not Plastic has crafted a conditioner bar that not only nourishes my hair but also contributes to a more sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle.

Pleasantly Surprised
This is my first experience with bar conditioner and I really like it. I want to reduce my plastic consumption and have been searching for a good conditioner, preferably made in the US. This applies easily and even with my long curly hair and daily washing, I believe the bar will last two months. Definitely 6 weeks. My only quibble is that I'm spoiled by the scents of bottle conditioners and wish this had a better scent. It's not bad by any means. Another review said patchouli, which I normally don't like, but it is reminiscent of that. I'd just like something more coconut or fruity. I've been using this a couple weeks and my hair does seem softer. I recommend, especially since it's more reasonably priced than others.

PLASTIC not peach!
I normally buy these from Grove, and love the conditioner, but they were sold out, so I thought why not order from Amazon. I was horrified when I opened the box and found the shipping box stuffed full of plastic pillow packing. Even worse, the product boxes were individually wrapped in plastic. As a person who partially uses this product to reduce the amount of single-use and short-term use plastics on the planet, this packing material is much worse than a shampoo bottle, which actually stores shampoo for an extended period of time, and can be refilled. This packing material and product wrapping immediately goes to the landfill. The Earth-friendly badges on the Amazon listing are incredibly misleading. These could've easily been shipped in the recyclable brown paper padded envelopes that can be recycled like cardboard, and definitely without the product wrapping. These should be sitting in the Grove Collaborative warehouse where they can be shipped in an eco-friendly way, rather than sitting in the Amazon warehouse.
