Just plug in and listen
There is nothing wrong with my ears, except they are getting old - more than 80 years now. It's a thing that most manufacturers seem to overlook - that there are are a lot of us about, and likely to get more.A lot of ears, when they age, loose the ability to hear high notes. You know that, because these sonic rabbit deterrants are annoying to both rabbits and young folk, but cannot be heard by older folk. So these earphones that boast to have bass boomers are not good for older ears - they need high note accentuators. I don't know of any earphones that have that, so we are limited by the settings on the Equaliser. My Equaliser settings are shown in the photo. They are the same on my Tablet and Mobile phone. They work well with most earphones that are not overhead-headphones. Overhead-headphones seem to have a bass vibration, even though the Equaliser has the bass notes turned right down. The USBc plug-in earphones are quick to use. I can use them quickly, when someone phones me, without the delay of Bluetooth recognition. These AKG earphones are made by Samsung, so are suited to both my tablet and mobile phone, although I have no doubt they would work just as well with other makes of appliances, using the same settings. Plug-in earphones never need to be charged, of course. When out of doors, it's easy to put the phone in your pocket while using the earphones at the same time. Perhaps earphones with loops around the ear would make them useful for energetic persuits, like hill-walking - but plug-in ones seem to be rare. I can recommend these AKG earphones - they are good value as well.

Potentially dangerous malfunction
The media could not be loaded. The headphones were crackly and had periodic 'interference' from the outset. They then had a loud 'popping' sound that was loud enough to be painful. Finally they completely malfunctioned the strange constant loud noises (again painfully loud) from the video. Raises questons of where the seller found these items?? Dire quality. Avoid and get different brand from a reputable source.

My new go to for low end earphones.
I got these earphones as a quick and easy pair for a holiday I had coming up, and for general gym use. I must say for the price I paid I was very pleasently surprised. Don't get me wrong the noise cancellation isn't off the carts (especially on a plane) but for general listening I think you get above market quality for it's price range. Definatley worth a go, as AKG a noteworthy brand when it comes to headphones. Who knows, you might be as surprised as I was.

Mixed result
They appear to be relatively well made for the price. How much can you expect for 20 beans, right?Connected them to my OPPO Find X5 Pro. Not even recognised as a device. USB C connector fits well with a convincing click, but the phone doesn’t “see” it. Couldn’t get it working.Connected to my ipad. Works great! In fact, its astonishingly good audio quality for cheap headphones. Tight balanced bass, tons of clarity and nice stereo separation. Good controlled audio, and the volume control works fine.Other reviews mention certain devices not working, so its a bit pot luck. Will update if they fall apart or malfunction, but right now they are performing very well, if not consistently.
