Good for size 80 wire
These worked out well on some tabs I had with some p80 wire. Made quick work of it.

Not Flush cutting.
These are not Flush cutting. The product description says they are and the picture seems like they should be but they are not ground to be flush cutting. That was the first problem.Next up, the jaws would not close tightly. They are ground poorly and don't match. The compound leverage mechanism is poorly stamped and hit the cutter head before the jaws could close all the way.Third, the rivets holding the handles on were barely formed and I could push one out by hand.I needed the tool NOW and fixed and corrected everything so I could use them. Not really eligible for return at this point. They cut what they needed to cut easily. Only because I corrected the cutting edge. I was able to file the jaws easily, that means pretty soft steel, so I wouldn't cut anything harder than brass with these.

Good
Nice clean cut. It cut the frets end nicely and it kept the ends from flying away.

Useful tool
Used it to cut fret wire, but not for stainless steel. Cutting ends are smooth and a slight radius, so I used it as a fret wire remover and no issues. Cut guitar strings flushed. The three rivert ends are sharp and filed to smooth them out.(4 stars). Overall, I'm happy with this tool. BTW, a hard to find tool at this price.

Fret nippers that are actually ground flush!
I've looked at a lot of nippers on Amazon and this is the only one I've seen that is actually ground flush so that you can use it to pull frets off a fretboard. I plan to only use this as a fret puller so I can't speak to the cutting ability or durability.
