Expectations met

The media could not be loaded. So I bought these to go around my aquarium filter because we’re expecting shrimplettes and the filter works great but wasn’t safe for them. I didn’t measure the filter to know what size bags I needed. These were too small. So I cut them up and glued them together. The strings just started to come a little loose where I cut them but that’s expected. That’s also after taking it out and rinsing it several times. It catches everything which the shrimp and the snails have loved! And as you can see in the video- I saw our first shrimplette right under the filter and it didn’t get sucked in. It has been great! Now I’m using the bags to create my own filters and it’s amazing!

Good prefilter bag

Son tal cual me las esperaba. El tamaño es apropiado para introducir alguna resina en los filtros externos. En mi opinión, para filtros internos o de cascada no lo veo apropiado ya que reduciríamos espacio para la filtración mecánica y biológica.
