Is there a power supply for this? If not, how do I power it?

As the picture shows and the description states it comes with a USB power cable. The USB power cable cannot be used on a USB port from a computer as it needs more power than the computer will provide. It is best to purchase an adapter that plugs into an outlet and takes USB connection.

Does each "recording session" create a separate mp3 file added to the usb or sd card?

Yes it does. Each time you stop recording, the unit stores the mp3 file to the memory device.

Can you use a wireless microphone with transmitter and receiver to record audio onto this?

This was the reason for the purchase. I have not gotten the product to work with that set up. If it records anything at all, it just captures silence or static, and frequently stops recording (because it has not received a signal).

how is the recorded audio? is there any bass? i bought one like this and all high's and no low's in the recorded audio.
