Perfect for our RV
I have a Jura at home so I had to have one for travel, too. The ena8 has a small footprint, and packs a punch! It’s a great machine. I’m very pleased. Highly recommend.

Robbery
I don’t know how to explain this but let’s tryI felt robbed every time I think that I paid $2000 for this piece of garbage that they call coffee machine. This piece junk started having problems after 5/6 months of use… and when you call them they try to fix the machine by phone… like… you pay $2000 for and then you have to become a Chinese coffee machine mechanic…lol give a breakFor less than a half of the price you can buy a espresso machine and a coffee grinder made in Italy that will last your grandson’s lifetime and the espresso will be so much better than the one this junk makes. Thanks and be smart with your money

Pros and Cons
Pros: Full service Automatic coffee maker with a delightfully small footprint and clever, eye friendly design. The coffee is excellent, the water reservoir is adequate as is the coffee bean holder/grinder. The quality of the milk foam is good, and the push button interface to make milk drinks is super easy.Cons: The dregs holder is very small. The machine requires a filter, no matter how soft your water, but that is a small issue. It rinses itself automatically so you always have to have a container underneath the spout (but then you never have to remember to rinse the machine.). The biggest con is the milk foam temperature is not adjustable through the settings and never gets hot enough, in fact is mostly room temp as far as I can tell. This is an expensive machine. I currently use a milk foamer to make hot foam, which shouldn't be necessary given that this machine makes excellent foamed milk ... just not hot! 😑 Jura customer service isn't terrible but hasn't been very helpful.Next stop on my coffee machine journey when I amortize this punk down to $5 a coffee is Breville.Update: I still am using this machine and it still makes excellent coffee. I've either gotten used to the milk temp or just figured out that I need to use an insulated mug. But still! Jura! The flat white should not be room temp! It's my favorite drink and this machine just can't make it.

Not like other Juras... ENA8 makes weak drinks ; Jura Troubleshooting of No Help...
This Jura ENA8 was purchased to replace a Jura Impressa F7 that made delicious drinks & served us well for many many years. We also own a Miele superautomatic. Bottom line was that the Jura ENA8 made mediocre drinks. This was quite suprising as or old Jura and the Miele both make rich, smooth & delicious coffee drinks. The ENA8's ristretto, espresso, coffee was notably weaker, water & not smooth. We are experienced using superautomatics so did not think this was user error. We experimented with all the setting variables: beans, grind, coffee dose etc... We also did a bunch of blinded comparisons with our other machines. In each case the ENA8 was identified by its substandard drinks. We contacted Jura to troubleshoot & unfortunately struggled to get good support. Different Jura tech support reps gave conflicting advice. One rep was adamant that to get a strong coffee in a Jura you needed to use the Coarsest grind setting & not fine. He was adamant about this & said "This is How Jura's are, they are different'. A different Jura support rep said this was incorrect & had no idea why their colleague would suggest this. Of note, this Jura can use a dose of coffee from 5g to 10g. Many other Jura's can dose up to 16g. Our Impressa F7 can dose to 16g & our Miele can dose to ~14g. One suspicion is that the dosing of up to only 10g may lead to the ENA8 making weak drinks. When asking Jura about this, some reps did not even know about dosing differences amongst their machines. Other reps said this was likely the issue. A different rep said Jura would never spec a manchine do only dose up to a max of 10g IF it led to weak drinks.Any any rate, I feel we tried hard to make this ENA8 work & we spent a lot of time experiementing, comparing AND contacting Jura.Additionally, this Jura seems much more cheaply made than our other superautomatics. The chrome-finish tray is plastic on this model [real metal on our Miele & Impressa F7 ]. The ENA8's chrome finish became quite scratched from sliding cups under the dispening spout. It looked pretty ratty after about a month of use.In our attempts to get help from Jura, One quite brusque Jura rep said "Well if you don't like the drinks why don't you just return it!". Although we were wanting some legitimate trouble shooting [as we were suprised by the poor quality of the ENA8's drinks], we decided to do just that. . . . It has been returned to Costco. We likely won't buy another Jura in the future.
