Just what we expected: hot and spicy.

I could not find Thai chilis locally and I needed them for a recipe. These are good quality and I liked the packaging! 10/10 would order again! The smell and taste are great!

Can't go wrong. Love to add these in chili, oriental dishes. Good taste and value.

These Authentic Red Thai Chili Peppers work well for adding heat to soups, curries, and stir‑fries. The peppers arrived dry and mostly whole, with a good color and a noticeable aroma when toasted. They definitely bring the expected level of spice, so they do the job for general cooking. That said, the quality is fairly standard. A few peppers were broken, and the heat level wasn’t as consistent as I’ve seen from other brands. The 5 oz. bag is a reasonable amount for the price, but nothing about it stands out as particularly premium. Overall, they’re a reliable option if you need dried Thai chilis for everyday recipes, but not the most impressive batch I’ve used.

HOT!!!!!!!!!!! These are beyond amazing hot peppers for cooking.

I am writing to update my previous review of the pepper. While it does offer a decent level of heat, I have found that I do not prefer its flavor, on its own. The heat is quite intense and has a sharp, biting quality. In my opinion, this pepper might be well-suited for making hot pickles, adding to a honey mustard condiment, or seasoning your oil before stir-frying rice. However, I consider it affordable capsaicin. I put them in a tall & powerful blinder converting them to crushed pepper flakes.

I wanted hot and I got HOT! The peppers are dried, of course, but still fresh and flexible, not mummified. I made a batch of Chinese red oil with them. Best--and spiciest--red oil I've ever tasted! Highly recommended!
