I have been looking around for my next bullet journal for several weeks looking for a better quality of paper than my Leuchtturm1917 as my main requirement. I have had my eye on STM journals for a while and finally bought mine last month. I am very pleased with the quality of the paper : no bleeding, no ghosting and the colors are looking so much prettier than on my Leuchtturm. The cover feels smooth to the touch, its color is absolutely stunning and the icons are the cutest. The first few pages contain some essentials for bullet journal : a space for your name, a key for 15 symbols & 8 colors and 3 pages for the index. At the end of the journal, you will find a pocket as well as a pen test page and another dedicated to mindfulness. I already have more STM journals on my wishlist, awaiting to be bought... If you know anyone journaling, this journal comes into the cutest slipcase which makes it a great gift.

Solidly constructed with a decent fine liner and good quality paper

Quality paper that doesn't bleed through, numbered pages, dot grid, not the cheapest but a well made quality notebook.

Last year I was torn between Scribbles That Matter and Dingbats after trying a LEUCHTTURM 1917 and being horrendously disappointed with the thin pages and ghosting. Both seems to be very similar and decided to go for a Dingbats last year. When looking at the two this year, I noticed that Scribbles That Matter seemed to have increased the paper thickness and I was excited to give this ago. This journal has Lovely thick paper, with little to no ghosting or bleeding. Two book marks are always handy. The paper in this journal has a texture to it and is not as smooth as the Dingbats, which I prefer. The paper is also white, where as the Dingbats is cream. I do really like that the pen loop is secured with a metal stud at the back and is still going strong- the Dingbats pen loop was glued in and it fell out after a few months. Although the cover is lovely and smooth and a nice texture, it does scratch easily and leaves slight marks. I tend to put it back in the cardboard cover it comes in now if I want to transport it in my bag which makes it more bulky. The pages are also narrower in the Scribbles That Matter than the Dingbats, which did bother me at first, but I have gotten used to. Over all, I find this to be an excellent journal and will be happy to continue using it.

UPDATE: having used the journal now for a couple of months, I can say that, unfortunately, the pages definitely do bleed when using certain markers and I'm not always able to prevent my watercolours bleeding through the pages either, especially if using the wet-on-wet technique. I've purchased other journals with a similar weight of paper which have held up better so, although I like the cover design and colour of this one, I'm not sure I'll be repeating my purchase once I've filled this one. I recently purchased the Scribbles That Matter journal in Lavender2 (Iconic 160gsm), attracted by its enticing colour choices and designs. The product arrived beautifully presented in a sleeve, accompanied by a pen, although it regrettably failed to work and it was also a little disappointing that the the advertised Scribbles That Matter Page Divider Guide from the photographs was also missing. Despite reaching out on social media for clarification, I received no response, revealing a noticeable gap in their customer service. Undeterred, I acquired a page divider guide from Etsy, seamlessly incorporating it into the journal on my own. The paper in the journal is a delightful crisp white, and the dots are clear, with subtle yet visible halfway points marked both horizontally and vertically. The company claim the 160 pages to be zero-bleeding and acid-free, assuring a high-quality journaling experience and the faux leather front cover adds a touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic. As I embark on using this journal for my bullet journal journey throughout the year, I'm excited to explore its potential. Despite the initial hiccups with the pen and missing accessory, I remain optimistic about the journal's performance. I'll provide an update once I've had the chance to fill its pages with my thoughts and creations.

*pictures show the same page on either side, absolute no pen showing through* Bought this notebook because of the thickness of the paper as I have previously used Leuchterm books for my bullet journal and absolutely hated the fact that all my designs from the previous page ghosted onto the other side. I could not be happier with this STM notebook. You can see through the page if you hold it up to light, but when you're working on the page you can't see a thing from the other side, which is amazing. Other extras that have also made it great for my bujo are the numbered pages, big index tables and room for a code at the front. Pen test page is a brilliant feature too. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with my purchase as it has fixed my main problem with other notebooks, but it also has other extras that make it even better. Would definitely recommend this for bullet journaling. Slightly pricey but definitely worth it in my book as I will be using it all year (although nowhere near as pricey as some other recommended bullet journal brands).

I thought I wanted thicker pages than how they are in my LT. But no, I didn't like how it FEELS looking thru the pages, so I went back to my trusted LT. The pen that came with the notebook though, wow! I loved it, it just today ran out of "ink". That's after almost 3 years of daily use. Amazing!

Papier is heel geschikt voor zowel potlood als inkt, waterbased brushpens, zelfs waterverf als je niet overdrijft met water. Stevig notitieboek , heel handig in gebruik. Dit is al mijn tweede en er zullen er nog veel meer volgen.

Maravillosa, hojas bien gorditas para hacer una libreta excelente para técnicas mixtas en journal. Aun no la he probado pero me muero de ganas.

Eh batallado tanto en encontrar esta libreta y por fin la tengo, de lo único que me lamento es de no haber comprado mas de una, esperaré a que vuelvan a ponerla disponible. Llego justo a tiempo, el color es identico al de la imagen, la calidad de las hojas y gramaje es de lo mejor, incluso un poco mas que otras marcas ya conocidas. El precio si es un poco caro pero vale la pena cada peso invertido. I was looking for a good journal and I did a great choice by getting this one; I’m impressed with the quality. The paper thickness is fantastic; I've used a variety of pens, from gel pens to highlighters and markers and havent experienced any bleed through the pages.
