Q: Is there latex in this?

No, there is no latex in it. The material of this foam tape is neoprene.

Q: Is the 3/4" thick foam like a hard neoprene or does it squish? i need no squish for for a vibration gap.

It's exactly like the foam tape you buy at Home Depot. The foam is designed to compress to seal the door/window from cold leaks.

Q: How dense and springy is the foam? I need something that has good resistance to compression and will spring back to shape quickly when compressed.

This foam was very springy. It will pop back if compressed. But do not put it any place that you need to take it off off without major hassle. I put it around two patio doors and when I went to take it off? It took me an entire day with an adhesive remover and a scraper to get it all off. It was quite the chore. But yes.... Springy!
