XTAR PB2S Battery Charger （Not Included Battery

Not very happy:1, As you can see, the 21700 battery is way longer than the slot, can not be put in as the manufacture's ad, mine is the flathead, I don't know what kind of 21700 they use.2, Charging speed is 1.4, just normal charging, not fast.3, My Samsung S20+ is 4500mha, I use two same brand 18650 total 7000 mha, only charge to 60%, so not sure that's the battery or this bank's issue.If you already have lot's 18650 battery, that's good for you, otherwise buy fasting charging power bank

This is too notch charging and there is no competition but the paint pelled off on top and waved on the side still satisfied I was never able to use qc for charging but USB protocol worked at high speed of charging buy it might be a manufacturing mistake or something happened to my units somehow...

So I got my hands on two of these units, One I received as a christmas gift and the other I purchased because at first I loved the idea and wanted to have a second unit. After having these for more than a week or two theyve become essentially useless or standard 5v @1-1.5amp chargers. Essentially the issue is that the controller seems to have issues deciding if it wants to take the charge or supply the charge, and the annoyance is the single button doesnt allow you to manually control it either. When I try and charge a device that supports 12v charging (PD/QC3+) it never supplies the power, it initially will charge 12v at maybe 1 amp but after a few seconds it drops dramatically to like .1 amps or lower. Ive tested this across many devices such as my note 9, s8 plus, switch, 2 laptops (that support PD) etc.I do not recommend this for anyone as they seem to have the right idea of a unique charger but completely fail at creating a quality product.

I like it. Sleek and functional. And the issue with the quick charge is simple. It takes a second to read the device and decide what to output. Your phone is faster than that. So it sends a little juice to test, the phone doesn't see quick charge right away, phone defaults back to standard charge, charger now reads this and they both never check again. Thats why it'll pop up quick charge for a split second bc it almost got it.All you have to do is unplug it and plug it back into the phone real quick so the phone reads the charger again.

This product really deserves 4.5 stars because of one small issue. I've overcome that by using a soft sponge under the lid to keep the battery from misalignment - this usually happens if you move it around too much. The problem with this is that the PD standard will not work and you will be limited to 5V. Most newer devices can quick charge at 9v but if one of the cells lost contact you will be limited to 5v. I am using unprotected 18650's but remember that protected 18650's are a bit longer and would prove to be a tighter fit.I ordered two of these and use them daily without any issues. I disassembled my old drill power packs and used the 18650's inside. You would not believe how these can accumulate over time especially changing the brand of cordless drill after it fails. Everything is straight forward and self explanatory, you have just one button but you will hardly use it. The device powers on itself and powers off just the same when disconnected. It powers on with very low power draw devices - something I've struggled with on other power banks. The build quality is very good and the display does it's job adequately. I really can't complain and I'm more that satisfied with my purchase.
