Is it possible to store the removable tray upside down to prevent contamination of paints if still wet when closed up?

After done with drawing, I stacked my tray ( with some wet paints) on the top ( the bottom non-removable wells still has wet colors) , then close the case then put it away. So far everything is good. The wet colors stay in place if you don't flip/ drop the case by accident.

Are all of the wells slant wells or are the majority pan shaped??

All the wells are slanted and the majority with accommodate a large brush.

Is it possible to store the removable tray upside down to prevent to prevent contaminating paints that are still wet?

I just Kay it right on top the other - right-side up!

Pops open too easily

I like this palette except for the closure mechanism. I travel with this palette and find that the front snap closure easily pops open when I pack it in my bag. Not necessarily a deal breaker, I can put a rubber band around it to secure the seal but at this price point, I'm disappointed. I have some Meeden 33 well palettes and prefer the security of the fold over closure they use.
