Shipping is a problem if your not home to sign for them, won't do that again, please make sure you ask if it is important! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ nutritionally balanced, but higher in calories than many competing products *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 21, 2016* First, about the taste and texture. This is an interesting bar. It's not as chewy as Quest bars (although it looks pretty similar to one), and it's not sticky at all. The coconut flavor is definitely present and it is an interesting contrast since the coconut texture is gone. The cashews add a nuttiness that doesn't really seem cashew-specific, if that makes sense. It apparently has orange flavoring in it but I never would have guessed that while I was eating it...This is gluten free and non-GMO, if either of those are of concern to you. It is also vegetarian (but not vegan; contains whey protein), although it is manufactured in a shared facility that processes nuts/seeds, soy, wheat, and dairy (plus it contains tree nuts!).This has 19 grams of protein, which is great. It also has 11 grams of fiber, 6 grams of sugar (hey, for a snack food this is kind of low), and 12 grams of fat. Plus a fair amount of calcium and iron. This is actually quite nutritionally balanced for a snack. But, one bar has 260 calories, which is quite a bit larger than other snack and nutrition bars. Quest bars range from 170-210 or so, while KIND bars also hover around 200 calories. 260 may not seem that different but when you are counting calories, it could involve serious changes to your day!You can see the nutrition facts panel and full ingredients list if you zoom in on the product images. I'd be interested to see what this company does with some other flavors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Healthy protein bar. *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 27, 2016* We bought 5 flavors of these bars, as we are looking for a healthy snack/protein bar. My wife, 2 kids and their boyfriend/girlfriend cut up 4 of them and taste-tested them for desert after a family dinner. We like all of them, but three of them stood out. The 1) dark chocolate macadamia, the 2) chocolate strawberry, and the 3) coconut cashew were liked by all 6 of us. We all are little partial to chocolate I think. Our son is training to enter the SEAL program so he needs a lot of healthy calories and protein, so these are right up his alley. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/37187796-mauer-sports-nutrition-classic-protein-bar-coconut-cashew-65g-19g](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/37187796-mauer-sports-nutrition-classic-protein-bar-coconut-cashew-65g-19g) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
