I love these wall lights. They completely changed the atmosphere of my room and made the whole setup feel more modern and finished. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the RGBIC effects look much better than standard lights that can only display one color at a time. The music-sync feature is also fun and works well for gaming, movies, or just adding some background lighting. Setup was easy, and the Govee app gives plenty of options for colors, brightness, scenes, and effects. Overall, this is one of those products that makes a bigger visual difference than expected.

Okay, so for most of us that buy LED lights on Amazon, were often disappointed for various reasons, we all could list several. Outside of a couple small cons, these have to to be some of the best lighting setups I've picked up so far, and I couldn't be happier with the look in my new studio as I build it! I ended up getting the 8-section kit and hooked it right up, outside of the app downloading and pairing the lights to my wifi, you almost don't even need the instructions, it's pretty self explanatory. PROS: STRONG - I dropped these at least 5 or 6 times from about 4ft while piecing this together and lifting it up to my wall. (I did this alone at home with no extra hands, more on that later) BRIGHT - So these are insanely bright, and I mean that in the best way possible, the whole room glows and can be easily seen through my shutters in my appartment. Ut the brightness itself is very adjustable. EASY SETUP - Setup and piecing it together is easy enough alone, but be prepared to have to measure/mark to keep it lined up correctly. Keep in mind the adhesive they use is very strong, and may take some paint with them I'd you peel them from the walls after install. PRICING: For what I paid, I expected less than what I got for performance, and wad blown away by all of the custom presets it already has, as well as custom animations you cam basically make yourself, although it's a bit limited in some aspects, hardly worth complaining a out though CONS: INSTALL DIFFICULTY WHEN ALONE- This is one of my only complaints, and it's not really even the companies fault, moreso just a warning for those getting this. Measure and mark twice, install once. This is a big set and being able to plan out where it lands on the wall is a big deal if you wanna avoid peeling wasting time. All in all, this LED kid was more than I asked for, and is now part of my music production inspiration, as well as the background for my livestreams and online training videos for work. I can't wait to get another kit, because I intend to!

Pros: -The lights can get super bright at 100% -The Govee app makes it very easy to control the lights -Comes with Velcro 3m adhesives to stick the strips on the wall first then attach the lights Cons: -The way the light bars snap together requires you to peel back the segment on the wall to attach the next segment, which can get frustrating -Even though the adhesive is great, it’s only great for the first application. If you want to change the layout you’re most likely gonna rip/tear the tape and then you’re stuck until you can get a different alternative to stick the lights to the wall. Definitely will get more in the future during Black Friday. Not worth getting these above 100 bucks. I got mine for 69 bucks. (8 bars and 4 corners) I found that using double sided 3m tape works well. You don’t need that much tape either, I used two one inch pieces on each bar.

I bought these lights thinking they'd add a “touch of ambiance” to my office. I was wrong. They transformed it into a full-blown interdimensional nightclub where the walls now party harder than I do. First of all, the setup was surprisingly easy—except for the part where I stared at the pieces like I was solving a 4D Rubik’s Cube. The “Cross-Plane 3D Placement” made me feel like I was doing light-based geometry homework, but once I slapped them on the wall, chef’s kiss. My living room now looks like it’s auditioning for a role in Tron. The multicolor lighting is mesmerizing. I accidentally stared at the wall for 10 minutes before realizing my pizza was burning in the oven. Worth it. Music Mode? Unreal. These lights don’t just sync with the music. They feel it. I swear they started judging my playlist. When the beat dropped, the lights dropped too. I think I saw one do the worm. And don’t get me started on the 40 scene modes. There's one called “Romantic.” My cat walked in during that one, sat down, and stared at me like I was about to propose. Also, hands-free voice control is a game changer. I now yell “Party Mode!” into the void like a futuristic wizard, and my walls immediately oblige. In conclusion, if you want your walls to have more personality than your ex, these are the lights for you.

A month in to having this set and they work well. The app has a lot going on but was pretty easy to figure out. Some people are saying you can't change the brightness or slow down the changing of colors on the timer but you actually can on the app. My issue is that with 8 pieces you would think you can create something nice but there's no real design options without the corner pieces and you can't add more lights even though the last piece still has a connector. The power supply is designed to only work with the set you have so expanding won't work. Overall, they feel cheap but they work fine and still look nice on the wall.

I bought these for my son’s room. They are easy to assemble, durable, & look super cool. You can chose from many color & comes with a small remote so you don’t have to get up to turn them off & on. I love them in the closet. You can put them anywhere. Flexibility is up to your imagination. They are a bit spendy but worth it! He has 2 sets in his room now. Love the look so much I’m going to buy some for my office.

The Govee Glide was very easy to install. It was easy to clip each segment together. Also, they stuck easily to the wall surface and were easy to move when I misplaced them. In total, I purchased four sets. In the pictures, I have two sets, running end to end. The segments are also VERY durable. I dropped one corner segment and it fell over six feet, bounced a few times and yet worked perfectly when I installed it. The Govee app and Alexa app work very well together as Alexa recognized and installed the lights as soon as I powered them on. The Govee app has many features and makes it fun to play with the Glide. I would caution you to not make the mistake I made, twice. CHECK YOUR PACKAGE before installing. Two of the boxes were missing items; one was even missing the power cords as well. It is easy to make the mistake when you are excited and want to get your new lights up, so just please beware. Overall, I would highly recommend the Govee glide!

I have this on the wall in my office. It brightens the office up a ton, and with the app you can have it turn on and off at certain times. So I know when it turns off that it's time to start wrapping up what I'm doing for the night. There are a lot of effects, some of them are really neat to watch. Biggest criticism would be that the sound activated mode isn't always the best, sometimes it's too sensitive at the lowest setting. If there was a less sensitive option it would be pretty great when listening to bassy music

It’s beautiful, it’s bright, it’s fairly easy to install, app is easy to use even if you’re not tech savvy. although it seems like it’s going to break when connecting them together, but it’s actually strong. Be careful regardless and you don’t have to worry. Not much cons with it but one. The one I got, not all segments work. One of the segments stopped working after installation. I’ll be reaching out for customer support for an exchange. Update: Excellent customer support. Got it replaced. Fully functional no issues. Swift response and replacement. Simply incredible service. The lights are great glad I could be assisted swiftly.

i recently bought the govee adaptive tv lights and was so impressed I deceded to see what else they sell. Came across these and had to try and buy. Pieces snap together easy, super bright and tons of scene amd music settings. Great addition to my basement arcade. Will keep looking for more products from these guys in the future. Only issue I had was that I couldnt use the same power supply to run 2 full boxes of the 8 packs so the lights so they only work with the pieces in their box. Other than that, these are a total home run. Super easy fast setup and conection to alexa. Will keep buying whatever govee comes out with. They are setting the bar!
