Righting a review cause i almost didn’t buy it cause of the reviews about the taste.. i am here to say it isnt bad at all! It actually is pretty good. It is very sweet so one reviewer said all alot of water and they were right ! And it is also pretty thick so u havw to add alot of water. But overall happy i didnt get scared off about the taste.. did the chocolate..

I’ve seen a lot of negative comments in regards to the taste, which is something I have not experienced so just wanted to share my recipe with all. I ordered the chocolate flavor, alongside it I use orgain’s chocolate powder. I think the chocolate flavor in orgain’s powder must bring out the flavor in the design’s for health’s powder while also masking any unpleasantries. I add one avocado, three leaves of basil and 12oz of coconut milk with splash of water (or ice) and blend. I think sometimes smoothies just need some sprucing up, don’t let the potential flavor deter you from taking care of your health :)

Cleanse smoothies typically do not have the greatest flavor, as they are filled with vitamins and supplements to support your body's processes. I have done many many such dietary cleanses over the years. DFH chocolate is tolerable, even using just with water and not a nut milk, but I did need to use the full suggested amount of water or it was too potent of a taste. I ordered the chocolate, because I could not tolerate the strawberry-vanilla and they were great about taking care of me. Solid reputable company that I trust (even with the average flavor profile). Suggestions for being able to drink pleasantly: Use plenty of water/alternative milk. Dilution helps. Use room temp water for ease of dissolving of powder. Use a blender (I use a whisk attachment on my immersion blender). It gets a nice froth. Add a couple ice cubes after blending. It tastes better cold. I will sometimes add a little cinnamon, or even a tiny bit of instant coffee (I know, it's not on the cleanse plan), to offset the vitamin and artificial sweetener flavor (the "natural flavors" and stevia).

I usually order the Designs for Health purepaleo chocolate protein powder. Note that paleocleanse is almost as expensive for half as much product. However, with this company you get what you pay for. This is satisfying, good for my sensitive digestion, and supports regularity in the bathroom. It blends well in the blender (I did not try a shaker bottle). The flavor tastes like chocolate and something else - a fruity or green drink flavor? Tasty but not a pure chocolate milkshake taste (purepaleo tastes like a creamy chocolate milkshake).

I have tried the chocolate and the strawberry vanilla. They both taste horrible but it's a great way to help prepare yourself for the Paleo diet.
