I purchased this coat rack because I wanted my daughter to have a place to hang her wet coat as she enters her dorm room when the rainy season begins here in Oregon. I have to admit, I was quite skeptical as I didn't expect much out of an $18 item but I thought i'd give it a try anyway as I didn't want to pay a lot for something she'd use for a short time. I have to say, this coat rack far exceeded my expectations. It was so easy to put together - literally it took me less than 5 minutes to assemble it and it holds a good number of coats and other items as the branches are sensibly placed in different directions and heights. The legs aren't weighted but as long as you balance the weight on the different branches, it seems sturdy enough. My daughter and her roommate love this coat rack and surprisingly, so do I. I just hope that it holds up through the year. I'll provide an update to how long it lasts as the school year progresses. I purchased the grey color coat rack and it looks beautiful - a subtle, soft grey that compliments her dorm decor. One of the best purchases I've made from Amazon. Update : My daughter just finished her first year and I'm happy to report that this coat rack held up really well. When ever we visited her or whenever she called me (which was everyday), I'd always notice how many things the girls managed to hang on this rack without it tipping over. As the year went on, I was really surprised that this simple coat rack was still upright and holding strong. On move out day, I took it apart as easily as I put it together and noticed that this rack looked as good as the day I put it together. There were not dings, chips or splintering - anywhere. I stored it in the box it came so it would stay in perfect condition for the day my son goes college in 2024. Such a simple item, with a simple design but it is perfect. Definitely a GREAT product that can be used over and over again. I still hold strong on my opinion that this is without question, one of the best products I've purchased from Amazon.

Purchased this rack to hold my tote type bags. I have it on carpet and it is not leaning or falling over. It was super easy to out together and I love the versatility with the height. I definitely recommend this item.

Overall, I’m happy with this coat rack, but there are a few important things to know before purchasing. The height is really nice — tall enough to comfortably hang winter coats without them dragging or bunching up. Assembly was extremely quick and simple. It was basically just a few turns of the wooden pieces into the screws, and I had it fully assembled in less than six minutes. I did notice that on hardwood or laminate flooring it slid a bit, especially during assembly. If you plan to use it on hard flooring, placing a small rug or carpet underneath makes a big difference and helps keep it from sliding. I ended up moving mine to a carpeted area, and it feels much sturdier and more secure there. One thing I genuinely like is the number of arms and knobs it has. There’s plenty of space to hang multiple coats, jackets, or accessories, which is great for households with more than one person. However, the placement of the pre-drilled holes for the hooks is a bit frustrating. Some hooks end up covering others when installed, even though there’s clearly space where they could have been positioned to avoid overlap. This doesn’t make the rack unusable, but it does limit how efficiently you can use every hook. Additionally, the holes where you screw the pegs or knobs in are kind of weird. You have to push in while you’re screwing them in, and it can seem like they’re not going in right or not aligned correctly. But honestly, they do go in fine after a bit of adjustment. There are also two hooks that are extremely low. Realistically, nothing adult-sized will hang there without touching the floor. A toddler jacket might work, but that wasn’t my intention when purchasing this rack. Those hooks feel more like wasted space, and honestly, if those weren’t included or were placed higher, the design would be much better. Functionally, though, it does what it’s supposed to do. Right now, I have three heavier winter jackets and a raincoat hanging on it, and it’s holding up well with no wobbling on carpet. One tip I’d suggest: if you have coats with the fabric loop near the tag, hang those first. Then hang the coats that don’t have loops over them so everything stays put and doesn’t slide off. Price-wise, it works, but a couple of dollars cheaper would feel more appropriate considering the lower hooks that can’t really be used. That said, despite a few design quirks, I still bought it, set it up, and am actively using it — which says a lot. If you’re placing this on carpet, or adding a small rug underneath on hard floors, and need a coat rack that can handle multiple jackets while still looking nice, this one does the job. Just be aware of the hook placement and flooring type so you know exactly what you’re getting.

I love this coatrack. It is simple and well made. It looks very nice and far more expensive than it cost. It was very easy to put together and is sturdy. As it has been cold outside,I have gotten in the bad habit of putting jacket s and sweaters on the backs of the chairs in my dining room. I don't want to keep putting them back in the closets every time I take them off - but don't like how it makes my dining room look messy. This is a good compromise. I just stuck it in the corner with the outerwear and purses and it blends in well. Problem solved.

no problems at all. looked professional in my office and now it lives on holding my shopping bags by the door. never toppled over even with some heavy and some light things loaded on different sides. i like the gray color and that you don't have to use all the pegs if you have a long coat on one side.

My old wooden coat rack with the vintage-looking upward-curved hooks finally broke after 30 years of daily use. I needed something quickly to replace it but didn't want to spend today's inflated prices on another one with the upward-curved hooks. I found this one during one of Amazon's "Limited Time Deal" sales, so it will do - for now. You get what you pay for. It's cheap, very lightweight wood with a powder-coated white matte finish. It's narrow, so suitable for smalls paces. But this will topple over if you hang anything heavy on it and if the weight isn't distributed evenly. You can't hang a backpack or a large handbag on it, for instance. I'll be using it in a corner of the bedroom for light items like pajama separates and other light clothing, but that's it. The individual pieces screwed together easily enough, and they were aligned well. But the manufacturer did not use plastic sheeting or baggies to separate the pieces from rattling or scratching against each other during transit, so one piece had a noticeable scratch or gouge in the wood, and also one of the bottom legs had a hairline crack about two inches in length. Since I happened to have white electrical tape in the house, I simply taped over the scratch and then I wound the tape around the hairline crack in the leg. If I hadn't already had the tape in the house, I would've returned this clothes rack, because I wasn't about to spend more money to make it usable. Bottom line: "Meh." As I said earlier, you get what you pay for.

Çok kalitesiz bir ağaç cinsi kullanılmış olmalı ki bir kaç parça kıyafet asmakla bu hale geldi. Ayak bölgesi ayrıca satılsa belki o parça değiştirilebilir ve kullanılabilir. Ama böyle bir satış olmadığı için bu ürün alınmaz.

Height is just right , sturdy base , enough arms for hanging - bought 3 for each bedroom. Like the woody colour.
