Dark Brown Leather Checkbook Cover

I like having a leather cover but I don't like that the plastic is a little smaller than the actual cover. It hits at a bad spot in the register when I write down the amount. It's also a little difficult getting the checks and the register in the book.

Nice looking book and material seems of good quality. The only problem I have with this is that it is too tight. An additionall 1/4" gap is needed between the check and ledger slots to allow for complete closure.

This cover is made of a really nice material and is constructed solidly enough. But the design is just barely wrong, just enough to make it completely unusable. The space to insert the checks is ever so slightly too narrow, and if you try to force the checkbook in there it gets crumpled and won't go in at all. Then, the place for the register has a big seam and an uneven structure exactly where you need to write the amounts and balances - so it's impossible to write anything there. It's a shame, because this cover looks and feels great, and very small design changes would make it perfect.

The cover is well-made, with quality-feeling leather and strong stitching. The plastic inserts meant to hold credit cards are prone to tear if the card isn't inserted exactly right, but still function with a slight rip. Though it isn't designed expressly for this, I use the cover to hold 2 checkbooks (one in each sleeve insert). It doesn't close in this configuration, but since it's left in a drawer that's less of a concern for me. If it were to travel, the sturdy leather should keep it in good shape for several years.

This is a straight checkbook. I was looking for something to hold my debit card as wel.

The checkbook cover seems to be well made with stitching. Only drawback is that it is not a soft leather , but will wear well.
