Miriam Ottoman with Storage and Bottom Rack, Espresso

I love this bench! I'm 72yo and wanted it to use for lying down exercises. It is hard for me to get up and down on the floor. It works great. It's plenty wide for lying on. It's cushioned, but still supportive. It seems to be very sturdy and of good quality. My only issue was 2 of the slats on the shelf below bench were cracked which was probably done in transit. I contacted Seller requesting just a new shelf or a partial refund for the damage. (Shelf still works with cracks) They replied quickly to my request and offered me a generous partial refund for damage done. I could not be any happier with this Seller and my bench!

just what i needed

The top is conveniently flat so I can easily set a drink and bowl on it without worrying of it tipping over. That being said, it is still comfortable when I have my legs up on it. It feels sturdy and the quality is much higher than I would've expected at this price point... it's a steal!A standard size memory foam pillow and a couple extra fluffy throw blankets fit in the handy storage for me. The hydraulic mechanism is incredibly responsive and opens and closes as smooth as butter.It came assembled except for having to unfold the legs (already attached) and add screws to secure them open. The shelf fits nice and snug in place between the two legs and is in no danger of going anywhere.Outstanding value for this beautiful ottoman. Great quality and price. I would've paid $300 and been happy!

I really like this ottoman! It is a great dark brown color and the quality is nice. We received the ottoman fairly quickly after ordering it. When we first received it, two of the screws would not screw into the legs. Shortly after receiving the item, I also received a follow up email from the company that sent the ottoman and I expressed my disappointment with the defective item. They immediately opened a service ticket and sent me a new ottoman. They also sent me instructions on how to return the defective ottoman which was super easy. The company communicated with me thoroughly and seemed extremely genuine in making my experience better. I was tempted to give a not so favorable review after receiving the defective item but after receiving excellent customer service from the company and I replacement ottoman at no additional cost, I had to give the product and experience 5 stars!!

I really like this ottoman. It have two complaints. One of the legs slightly seems crooked. Second complaint is the bottom shelf keeps getting knocked off. It doesn’t stay on. I’m trying to figure out how I can keep this from constantly falling. Any suggestions from the vendor would be welcomed

We are very much in the throes of 'we can't have anything nice' with 4 kids and a dog. I also understand you get what you pay for. HOWEVER, if you want to build something stable, you don't use piano hinges to stabilize furniture legs. This lasted about 8 months before the legs started to give out. The joints cracked and the legs were either pushed out or in. A simple trip to the hardware store for some proper L brackets to replace those useless hinges is all that it took. Couldn't find black brackets, but will use black enamel paint to at least make it look not as noticeable.The top and everything else has held up very well and I really like the large size of this ottoman. The inside storage is great for candy wrappers, socks, and bowls of uneaten cereal.🙄 Someday....but for now, this will last us longer with our modification.

It was very easy to put together. It came on time. The bench is the nicest thing in my bedroom!
