Great stuff! (smells terrible)
Worth it! A little bit goes a long way, and it will take me a very long time indeed to go through all of it. I found that the easiest way to mix this is to carefully measure out the correct amount to mix 1 gallon, 5 gallons, whatever on a mason jar, and then mark the level on the jar. You can then use that jar repeatedly every time you need a batch. I also recommend using a glass rather than plastic method of measuring because this stuff does NOT smell good, and that smell will likely permeate plastic. (don't use anything you will later want to use to cook) I actually unintentionally performed a controlled experiment with this stuff because I forgot to use it on one of two identical Mimosa trees I planted. (two of several different trees I was doing that week) There was a marked difference in the health and growth rate post-planting between the two. This does appear to really help with transplant shock, and the general health of the tree in the following month. I am mixing one gallon at the recommended concentration, along with a scoop of miracle grow in the mix once a month. No adverse effects at that strength for Mimosa, Meyer Lemon, Avocado, and Loquat trees. The only one that hasn't obviously responded was the Meyer Lemon, but the root ball on that one broke in half when I was planting it, so I'm frankly surprised it's still alive. Tips: Measure carefully. This stuff is concentrated. Also, don't get it on your skin. I'm not certain this is what caused it, but I ended up with a really bad painful rash on one of my arms the very next day, and it took a good week for it to go away. I was working without gloves and not being terribly careful, and I washed my hands but not my arms afterwards. This stuff is my primary suspect. Don't over-use it. Twice as much isn't twice as good, and using it more than about once every month is probably wasting product. This won't replace correct soil preparation and good planting practices. It will certainly help these things though. It could also probably help get trees established and through that first hard year or two when otherwise they wouldn't have survived. Also, probably a good idea to wait a few days to water after you use it. No sense washing away or diluting your investment. I'd buy it again, but what I have is probably going to last me quite a while unless I figure out more things to use it on.

Sometimes Smelly but Good Stuff!
Update: Found this gallon size elsewhere - not allowed to say where but search it and it’s 1/3 the price!!! Previous Review: Good Stuff! Just wish it wasn’t so expensive. $36.99 is just a lot for a gallon. When I buy it in summer when it’s hot it smells bad. The seller says that it ferments. I did tests with it smelly and it did still work very well. And when I purchase in winter it actually smells kind of pleasant, slightly earthy. I kept the same bottle for almost 2 years and it never got smelly. Bottom line: it ferments in heat but it still works🌟

Appears to work!
My new job trees love it. You can see a result rather quickly with the sprouts. I have clay soils this is a plus.

Couldn’t grow Plumeria like we do without this!
Carl Pool Root Activator is an entirely organic formula designed to enhance root regeneration by boosting their growth rate. It effectively encourages rapid root development, minimizes the stress of transplanting, and accelerates the settling process of plants. Ideal for use on all fresh plantings or transplants and in soil conditions, it's also perfect whenever you aim to stimulate extra root growth to revitalize plants that aren't meeting their growth expectations.

Great Root Activator
This was recommended by a friend who does hybridization of hibiscus (not an easy thing). It has worked well, producing roots faster than normal. It works great for seedling and it has accelerated my lemon grass stalks rooting as well.

Great Product, but can be had cheaper
Great product when planting shrubs or trees. Really does a good job of reducing transplant shock. I found this at my local Lowes for 12.44. Half the price as offered here.
