They also explained that the three unmarked buttons on the remote are currently there for internal use (testing) only, and they indicated that they will be putting cards in the packages explaining this. When opening the package, you get the turntable of course, plus AC adapter, remote controller and 2 batteries. In addition, you get 5 turntable pads of different colors, including a glossy black (the turntable itself is a matte black), white, beige, blue and gray. You can set the rotation to be a constant speed or one of 8 intermittent turns of X degrees per move. In this intermittent mode, for example, you can have the turntable move 1/64th of a turn, stop, then advance another 1/64th of a turn, etc. You can elect to have the turntable turn clockwise or counterclockwise. as well as set the speed. The 13.75" width is good for larger items. Using an included 5v power supply rather than having to rely on power from a USB connection to a computer as many turntables have, is a nice touch. There is no option for using AA or AAA batteries as there is on many smaller turntables, but with this size, this model is not meant to be portable. In total, this is a good turntable with a LOT of features that should cover just about any project you have, from 3D scanning to photography and videos, and window displays. Review: Great product.
