Great value for your money
These are an heirloom variety. They do very well if your soil is supplemented, with good manure, compost and tilled finely to about 12 inches deep. I harvest them when they’re about 3 to 4 inches across and they taste absolutely wonderful. You can let some of the tops go to seed and dry for next year’s crop. Make sure to save them in an airtight container.
