I actually like this one much better as it doesn't get messy like the stick. I was very skeptical at first, since this tin is fairly small, I didn't think I was going to get as much use out of it compared to the stick. But what I found is quite the opposite. I found that this allows just the right amount to be applied to the paper towel so you aren't wasting any product (it really doesn't take much to coat a typical 9" cast iron pan). All the cast iron products I use this on have a nice non-stick coating that looks magnificent, even the dutch oven! I don't have any issues with food sticking either. Since this uses all natural ingrediants, there is no smell or after taste added to any of the food. I would highly recommend Crisbee products, especially this one! Review: Awesome product! - I’m a cast iron nerd and this works really well. Much better than avocado oil I was using. Pans look really good after using this after stripping pans and reseasoning them. ## Features - A little goes a long way. It's a softer blend and you use a small rag or cloth to add the Rub then apply it to your pan. The Crisbee Puck is made with Non-GMO Soybean Oil, Beeswax, and Non-GMO Palm Oil. It's a solid - you hold the Puck and do a quick swipe on the hot surface then rub it in with a cloth or towel. The Rub is a smaller size (2 oz.) than the Puck (3.25 oz.). They both yield the same great results. With all Crisbee the key is to wipe it on then wipe it all off until the pan appears dry. **Q: What is best for first initial seasoning crisbee rub or crisbee puck** A: We recommend the Crisbee Cream - it’s the best bang for your buck. The Crisbee Rub is better for maintenance. **Q: Is this food grade beeswax?** A: We use pharmaceutical/cosmetic grade yellow beeswax. **Q: I have an old stove with iron grates that need reseasoning. Will this work on them?** A: If you are referring to the cast iron grates on a gas stove I suspect that you'd have an issue with the Crisbee Rub burning off and smoking as it's a mixture of vegetable oil, beeswax and palm oil. You might want to try a spray can of black high temperature stove paint. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best item for any cast iron pan. *by C***Y on December 8, 2025* I've used the stick version of this for many years and decided to try this version. Much easier than the oiling method. ## Frequently Bought Together - Crisbee Rub Cast Iron and Carbon Steel Seasoning - Family Made in USA - The Cast Iron Seasoning Oil & Conditioner Preferred by Experts - Maintain a Cleaner Non-Stick Skillet - PIBC Cast Iron Cleaner 8"x6" 316L Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber for Griddle Skillet Dutch Oven Wok Stainless Steel Pot Cast Iron Pan - Lodge Cast Iron Rust Eraser - 1 Each --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/371093061-crisbee-rub-cast-iron-and-carbon-steel-seasoning-family-made](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/371093061-crisbee-rub-cast-iron-and-carbon-steel-seasoning-family-made) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
