My son received one of the Y tubes at a children's hospital. He is a chronic chewer and would go through a lot of chewies, even the tough chew, and it became a safety hazard when pieces would be chewed off. The one that was given to him by the hospital has lasted 4 months. He doesn't chew on it everyday, but when he does, he is chewing really hard. There are no cracks, cleaning is easy, and nothing has been bitten off. This tool has soothed his anxiety and meets his sensory input needs. I'm so glad I was able to order a 5 pack.
