They just work - it's nice to buy something for a good price that works.

I got this for my iMac desktop, which has the headphone jack on the lower left side of the iMac body (pointing out to the left). Works great. It allows the headphone wire to go straight in from the front position where you sit without the cord having to bend around to fit into the jack. A caveot and the reason I'm bothering to post the obvious (that of course it works great) is this - I originally got the 4 connection style right-angle jack. That one has 4 conductors in the plug (3 black bands on the plug) instead of the 3 for strict headphone use (the 4th being for a microphone headset). The 4 conductor one was glitchy as hell on the iMac. Any motion of the right angle plug caused glitching and cut-out in the headphone operation. I just thought the jack was bad on the iMac. Then it dawned on me it was probably the 4 conductor style doing it. With this 3 conductor style (strick headphone, no mic use), the sound is solid even as you move it around or the cable moves or pulls a little on the right-angle.

As pictured. I purchased these to adapt the Awkwardly placed headphone jack on the bottom of my Nintendo New 3DS XL to the side so that the device can be rested against a surface or body while playing and using headphones since they made that terrible location decision. It's not perfect as the adapter sticks out just slightly and flexes a little under weight but it's usable and they haven't broken. I suppose there's a spare in this set of two if one ever does.

Works well and gets the job done.... BUT, it needs a redesign. Most people will wind up using this to plug into a phone that has a cover on it. All covers, if designed for the phone they're used with will have a hole in them for access to the 3.5mm port on the phone, but those holes may vary in size. In my case, this plug would not fit all the way in past the hole in the phone cover I had. I didn't want to cut the cover so I wound up having to take a utility knife an shave down the plastic around the plug in order for it to fit snuggly in the port. The manufacturer needs to reduce the diameter of the plastic around the plug so it will fit through phone covers.

Not much to say.. They work when needed!

I have a monitor with the audio jack on the bottom. When I attached the cord from my external speakers it looked like crap. This angled adapter helps hide the cable. Clean and works great.

I have a guitar pedal setup designed for travel. The smaller the box to hold it, the better. The setup includes a Spark Go used as an amp emulator. The Go external out is a 1/8" socket. A normal 1/8" connector jack body is fairly long and stand straight out from the socket. It was getting bumped or bent or even broke. This right angle connector changes the cable path to flow along the body of the Go. It takes away the damage risk, and saves space. Perfect.

Been using these for awhile, no issues at all. Works as intended no issues must buy!

In the images for the product it makes it look like it is gold-plated but in reality it is not. Both contact points are in fact just silver. Does not affect the product from what I can tell but it's just a difference.
