A: Hello.Yes,you can install this bar on any particular surface, but the bar must be fastened into something strong behind. If the surface is flexible, or flimsy, you need to have backup behind it. One method is to put wood blocking behind a flexible surface and screw the bar through the surface into the wood backing.

**Q: Does this item have anchors with it?**
A: There are 6 stainless steel screws and 6 plastic screws in package. After properly installation,it can support a person weight. If there are special requirements,you can purchase WingIts wall anchors (Asin: B004CCRJWO) and mount your bar with those.

A: Hello.You will need a 1/8-inch tile drill bit and a power drill.There are 6 stainless steel screws and 6 plastic screws in package. After properly installation,it can support a person weight. If there are special requirements,you can purchase WingIts wall anchors and mount your bar with those. The WingIts anchors are ADA approved and will support 300 plus pounds when installed correctly and in the right wall covering.But it is not necessary,just helpful.

**Q: Will hollow wall anchors provide enough support?**
A: Yes, it can be installed on a hollow wall and provide enough support.But if there are special requirements,we suggest use WingIts wall anchors (Asin: B004CCRJWO) and mount the grab bar with those.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Right Grab Bar

This grab bar installed right the first time. I chose it because it has square mounting brackets instead of round. I needed to install it along the edge of the tile where the stud was. If I had used ones with round brackets I would only have been able to put one screw into the stud on each end. The square brackets allowed for 2 screws on each end. The mounting screws included are substantial. I threw away the plastic anchors that came in the box and used my own screw-in anchors for the side that wasn't backed up by the stud.
