I studied fish nutrition in college, and this food gets a good grade for ingredients. Note that while it is advertised as a veggie food it has krill, herring and sardine meal (which is actually a good thing for most fish). My fish love it and it does not cloud the water. As others have pointed out, the pellets are small and sink quickly but my large peacock cichlids and Synodontis catfish all seem to love it and keep busy finding it on the bottom. This is not the only thing I feed my fish, but it is one of the main staples. I will certainly continue to buy it.

My fish eats it ar times and others not.

Bought this for my African cichlids as they need a lot of veggies in their diet. I chose this brand because the first ingredient is kelp. My newly introduced ophalmotilapia was only eating bloodworms, a meaty food, which is not suitable for long term. He ignored or spat out all other pellets I was giving my cichlids, but now loves this one! I noticed these sink faster than other pellets too. Comes in a generous size, great value for a quality product!

My juvenile Mbunas love it!!! The pellets (1mm) are small enough for my labidochromis small mouths, and they are 1-2”. My hungry 2” pseudotropheus, cynotilapia afras and OB peacock(1.5-2”) enthusiastically enjoy it as well. When I received my new fish, I wormed them with garlic, metroplex and epsom salt, and this food absorbed the meds well, and the fish found it very palatable too! Everybody healthy and happy now! Highly recommend because this brand has fine fish ingredients with wheat being lower on the list than most, and no corn or soy , which no fish needs. Try not to over feed them!

I don't constantly use this product as it is a bit pricey, but you Are getting everything you and your fish want. A Very Good formula, and as a treat the fish can't get enough of it ! A variety of foods is a great idea, Nature works that way too. Great Company Great product !

I have an aquarium with mbuna cichlids, and they LOVE this food. I was feeding them flakes before, and they enjoyed them. Unfortunately, they made a mess and half the flakes were dust. My fish eat these pellets like crazy, and they seem to be growing bigger quickly. You also get a lot for the price. I will be purchasing again when I run out!
