These inexpensive little toothbrushes are just as good at cleaning teeth as the expensive plastic ones and less wasteful of expensive petrolium products. The bristles do drop out a bit, but I have never swallowed one. The colours are fun and at this price, you can just throw it away when it gets a bit iffy without agonising about waste or cost. These show, I think, that "cheap 'n' cheerful" is not always less effective.

I recently tried the Bamboo Toothbrush, and while it offers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic toothbrushes, I found its life expectancy to be slightly below average. Despite this slight downside, I still appreciate the eco-friendly aspect of the Bamboo Toothbrush and the effort it makes towards reducing plastic waste. If you are willing to replace the toothbrush more frequently, it can still be a viable option for those seeking sustainable dental care products. In conclusion, the Bamboo Toothbrush offers an eco-friendly alternative to plastic toothbrushes, contributing to a more sustainable lifestyle. My wife can’t use an electric toothbrush and likes these a lot. The bristles are reasonably durable but not too course as to hurt when brushing. She likes that they are bamboo and sustainably sourced.
